lover girls, this one’s for us. ♡

having a crush is FUN. the butterflies, the blushing, the excitement of getting to know someone… until suddenly we’re emotionally invested in a man we hardly know and have constructed an entire relationship in our imaginations.

in this week’s edition of the single girl diaries, we’re chatting about romantic attraction, biblical discernment, emotional boundaries, and how to steward our feelings without becoming completely consumed by them.

guarding our hearts doesn’t mean we have to harden them. we can enjoy the possibility of romance while remaining grounded in Christ.

My new substack post is life. Is anyone beyond the redeeming grace of Christ? Reflections on Christian responses to the death penalty and worldly injustices. This one is heavy but necessary. I’ve witnessed a lot of noise online over the past few days surrounding injustice. I wanted to be an advocate for the Gospel in this midst of it all. In this essay I uncover how we subconsciously create a hierarchy of sin that we are somehow never at the top of, the influence of bitterness, the death penalty, & the concept of grace.

So thankful for my best friend 🥹 Jesus knew exactly what He was doing when He allowed us to cross paths. In all that she has on her plate daily, she never fails to make me feel seen and heard. She made me a little boo basket since I’m a single girly!! So sweet.

THE SINGLE GIRL DIARIES HAS OFFICIALLY DROPPED 💌 I have always wanted to create a specific space where I can write about the complexities of singleness as a Christian woman. Now I’m doing it. I pray that the Lord would bless me with the sound and wise words to share here. I pray that singles would walk away encouraged and equipped to love others well, have healthy conversations, and grow intimately with Christ. May their relationship with Jesus be their prize, the very thing that their eyes are fixated upon. This will never be a place where one relationship status is elevated above another. Here we celebrate marriage and singleness alike because we recognize what unique and prized gifts they are from the Lord. First and foremost, we are children of the Most High, not singles or wedded folks. May our identity never be rooted in a status but in Christ Alone.
