Comment PTO and we’ll DM you our free 2027 PTO planner with every holiday window. 👇 Here’s how to maximize your PTO in 2027 We turned 4 PTO days into 9 days off by putting our time off right next to the holidays, and we didn’t have to beg anyone for extra vacation to do it. ✈️ Nick gets 15 PTO days and I get 20, so every trip we plan has to fit inside his 15 if we want to travel together, and that’s why we stopped guessing. We mapped every 2027 holiday, from Memorial Day to Thanksgiving, plus the December break that turns 8 PTO days into 16 days off. Which holiday is your big 2027 trip built around? 🤔 *Dates follow the 2027 federal holiday calendar, so double-check which holidays your job gives you before you book. POV: you’ve found the couple who treats a long weekend as a reason to leave the country. Hi, we’re Courtney & Nick, the Pittsburgh couple who will turn a long weekend into an international trip and refuse to feel bad about it. ✈️ Here’s the whole brand in one line: boujee on a budget. We’re living proof you can see the world without blowing your budget or quitting your full-time jobs. We splurge on the experiences worth remembering and stay ruthless about cutting costs everywhere else. Here’s how it works between us. Courtney is the idea-machine who’s already planning the next two trips while we’re still on this one, and Nick is the logistics guy who actually reads the train schedule and gets us there on time. Chaos meets planning, and honestly that’s exactly why our itineraries work for real life. Our story went from a swipe right to “I do” in a Scottish castle. We met over tacos and cocktails on a cold November night, rang in the New Year in New Orleans six weeks later, and by month three Nick was on a train to Edinburgh swearing he wasn’t a Scotch guy. One sip later, he absolutely was. He proposed in a castle courtyard with that same bottle of whisky, and in October 2022 we got married at Neidpath Castle. 🥃💍 So if you want permission to be boujee on a budget, brutally honest reviews that skip the sugar-coating, and the confidence to actually book the trip instead of just pinning it, you’re our people. Welcome to the Passport Crew. 💕 Save this for the next time you need a push to book the trip, and send it to the person you’d get on a plane with tomorrow. Follow along for honest couple travel that respects your budget and your PTO. 📍 Pittsburgh-based, passports always ready by @passportpartnerstravel
Oia is one of Santorini’s biggest cruise ship stops, so by mid-morning the whole town turns into a slow-moving penguin march and the blue dome you came for is buried behind a hundred people lining up for the exact same shot. The real fix is timing: get there first thing before the ships unload, or wait for sunset after they’ve pulled out. If we’re being honest, the actual cheat code is probably spending the night in Oia, since you wake up with the town half empty and the light doing all the work for you. You can still get the shot mid-day if you’re patient and have a plan. We had a friend take our photos fast so we weren’t holding up the line, then peeled off to explore. And here’s the tip nobody gives you: everyone turns right at Panagia Platsani for the famous frame, so go left instead. The domes on that side are just as beautiful with a fraction of the crowd, which means you get the photo without the contact sport. Have your pose and settings ready before you step up, take your turn, and you’re out with the shot you came for. Sunrise or sunset — which one are you setting the alarm for? 🔵 by @passportpartnerstravel
Our cocktails showed up by train, and we’re still not over it.🚂🍸 Steam City in Barcelona is exactly as fun as it sounds. You order, then a little train chugs your drink straight to your seat, and somehow it never gets old watching it pull in. It’s the kind of bar you don’t plan around until you see it, and then you can’t skip it. Send this to the friend who’s coming to Barcelona with you. 🚂 📍 Steam City Cocktail Bar, Barcelona, Spain by @passportpartnerstravel
Three pieces, every trip, from now until the snow melts 🧥✈️ #FableticsPartner #FableticsMensPromoter Between lifting five days a week and squeezing in trips around two day jobs, I need clothes that keep up from fall into winter without packing a separate outfit for everything. The cords have enough stretch to move in and resist wrinkles after a long travel day, the sweater layers easily over anything, and the puffer keeps me warm without the bulk while holding my phone and passport in its pockets. It’s all from @fableticsmen 🧥 The City Cord Puffer 🧶 The SoftTouch Sweater in a crewneck 👖 The Don Cord Pant, classic fit Comment WARM and I’ll send you the links to shop all three pieces 👇 New to Fabletics? Consider this your sign to add a little pink to your Richmond, Virginia getaway. 🎀💗 The Barbie: A Cultural Icon exhibit is bringing decades of Barbie fashion, dolls, and nostalgia together in one very pink experience. Whether you grew up playing with Barbies or just appreciate a good dose of nostalgia, this is such a fun detour to add to your Richmond itinerary. 📍 Barbie: A Cultural Icon | Richmond, Virginia Save this for your next Richmond trip, or send it to the friend who would be OBSESSED. 💅 #RichmondVA #RichmondVirginia #BarbieExhibit #ThingsToDoInRichmond #VirginiaTravel by @passportpartnerstravel
Cruising wasn’t even on our radar until we realized how much is packed onto one ship. 🛳️ Most people picture the pool and the buffet, but that’s only the start. Evenings were for live shows and comedy sets, and there were more bars than we could get to in one trip, from cozy lounges to an actual ice bar where you sip your drink in a parka. (Yes, it’s as fun as it looks in our video.) There’s a casino if you want to try your luck, and karaoke night turned out to be one of the best nights of the trip, mostly because Nick grabbed the mic and refused to give it back. The food alone was worth it, with options well beyond the buffet, and our hibachi dinner was easily one of our favorite meals on board. The best part is that you get all of that without ever packing up and switching hotels. You unpack once, the ship does the traveling while you sleep, and you can wake up ready to explore a new port or do absolutely nothing at sea. If you’ve been on the fence about cruising, this is your sign. Save this for your first cruise, and send it to the person who still says cruises aren’t their thing. 🧳 by @passportpartnerstravel
Every couple has the person who builds the color-coded itinerary at midnight, and the person who shows up with snacks, ready for whatever’s on it. But somehow, it works every single trip! So which one are you? 👇Tag your travel partner so they know their role. 👕 Grab both tees from @careyonshopping using the link in our bio. You have to take this fall train ride in Pennsylvania at least once in your life, and it comes with something you won’t find anywhere else in the country. 🍂🚂 Our trip started at the historic Perry Street Station in Titusville, where the Oil Creek & Titusville Railroad runs a 3-hour round trip through Oil Creek State Park. The route follows the valley that’s known as the world’s first oil field, with a stop at Rynd Farm halfway through, and in the fall the hills on both sides of the tracks turn gold, orange, and red. The vintage cars were built by Pullman in 1930, and if the weather cooperates, the open-air car is the best seat for leaf peeping. Keep an eye out for wildlife too, because the area has bald eagles, deer, and the occasional black bear. The best surprise was the Railway Post Office car, the only one still in operation in the US. You can buy postcards on board, write them during the ride, and mail them right from the train, and each one gets an official USPS hand stamp from the railroad. It’s a fun keepsake to mail home or to the people you love. This ride is great for families, since kids love the train and the postcards, and there are snacks and drinks on board. If you want the more comfortable first-class car, book early because it sells out, and check the railroad’s website for fall foliage ride dates. Save this for your fall bucket list, and tag the person you’d send a postcard to! 📮 by @passportpartnerstravel
Happy 4th anniversary my love! Thanks for always saying yes to my wild ideas like getting married in a castle. ❤️🏰 by @passportpartnerstravel
My wife has been stealing my @islanderukltd backpack for months, so I did the only reasonable thing and flew her 3,000 miles to Edinburgh to make her own. 🎒🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Islander runs bag-making workshops in Edinburgh where you build your own Harris Tweed bag and walk out with it the same day. Harris Tweed has to be handwoven from virgin wool in the Outer Hebrides by law, so every bag starts with an actual piece of Scotland. You pick your leather color, your tweed pattern, and your straps, and then a guide walks you through putting it all together. No crafting experience is needed, which was lucky for me. Courtney and I both made the large backpacks, and there are two sizes to choose from: 🎒 Medium Backpack: £80 🎒 Large Backpack: £90 The workshop itself takes about an hour, but choosing the tweed took Courtney a good chunk of that. Book ahead, because sessions fill up, and take your time choosing, because bags can’t be exchanged or refunded once they’re made. Islander has several locations around Edinburgh, plus one in St Andrews. It’s the best souvenir we brought home from Scotland, even if mine is apparently still community property. Save this for your Edinburgh trip, and tag the person who keeps stealing your stuff. 😂 by @passportpartnerstravel
Comment BRUSSELS and we’ll send you our free printable 2-day Brussels itinerary 🇧🇪 We almost treated Brussels like a quick stopover, and we’re so glad we didn’t. Here’s how we spent 2 days in Brussels. 📍 DAY 1
Start at Grand Place during the day, then come back after dinner when the whole square lights up.
Say hi to Manneken Pis, because he really is tiny.
Spend the afternoon in the antique and chocolate shops in Sablon.
End the night with moules-frites, Jeanneke Pis, and a beer flight at Delirium Village. 📍 DAY 2
Start under the glass roof of the Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert.
Grab a waffle at Maison Dandoy, because it explains the hype.
Climb Mont des Arts for the view and walk past the Royal Palace.
Finish with pralines at Neuhaus. 💡 OUR BEST TIP
The whole city is walkable, so take the side streets and leave room for the stops you didn’t plan. Save this for your Belgium trip, and tell us: are you team waffle or team chocolate? 🧇🍫 #brussels #brusselsitinerary #visitbrussels #belgiumtravel #thingstodoinbrussel by @passportpartnerstravel
