THIS WAS MY HOLY GRAIL SPLIT DURING SURGERY ROTATION!! 🪡🏋🏻‍♀️

used @strava to look back on a random week during this rotation!! Most of my workouts are 45 min- 1 hour now that I’ve started doing this more broken up split!!

finding time to be consistent during rotations can be hard so I’ve always found putting it in my calendar like a scheduled event helps me know I can make time for it!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND GOBLET SQUAT INTO LUNGE IF YOU WANT PAIN !!! 😸💖

FIRST DAY OF FAMILY MED ROTATION !!! 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒🩺🩻

we are not gonna talk about how it’s a month late… family medicine actually took it OUT of me!! All the charting and long visits was SCARY 👻📝💊

& Happy breast cancer awareness month!! The amount of women who I’ve come across in this rotation who were hesitant to get a mammogram or those who caught breast cancer early was more than I expected. The ability we have to educate can go so much further than we think!!! 🩷🎗️

I really did enjoy the rotation overall and felt it was really rewarding but idk if I will want to do this as my first job at least 😳😳 RECAP 🔜 (after I post my other videos from fm)

POV: You thought all PAs did the same thing… 👀🩺

One of our favorite things about being a PA is how many different career paths this profession offers!

What specialty are you in, or which one would you love to explore? ⬇️

POV: you’re always an hour behind in family medicine when patients have 16 different chief complaints AND come late😍🩺

HAPPY PA WEEK TO ALL THE PRE- PA, PA-S AND PA-C’s!!! 💖🩻🩺🏥

Final week of family medicine and I haven’t even posted my first week vlog— oops.

DAY IN FAMILY MEDICINE!!! 💊🧑‍🧑‍🧒🩺

One thing I love about family medicine so far is the routine & almost predictability of my days!! I love being able to talk to patients about everything and then writing my silly little note with my silly little templates😛🗒️

One thing I know is every morning imma have my @bloomsupps!!! Pear scare flavor has grown on me so much and so good for a “fall” morning (it’s still 100° F outside) 🍐👻🍁🌞

SO FAR LOVING IT!! STAY POSTED 💖😊🤸🏻‍♀️

INTERNAL MED END OF ROTATION EXAM!!! 🧪📝💊

This test was the BIG CHEESE (and we got the new exams even tho we supposed to get the old ones) 🧀 and I got destroyed accordingly!! But it’s okay, we survived 😃

Like all my other EOR days, I didn’t stop moving until I was asleep! Pickleball, dinners & 2 BIRTHDAYS… AND A DRIVE TO KATY!!! & we flew out the next morning to Chicago 🌆🏙️

I didn’t know the audio just ended lol MY B

INTERNAL MED IP RECAP!! 🩺🏥

💊RATING: 8.6/10

🩻Overall, I really enjoyed the diversity of this rotation! Every week was different and I got to see a bunch of CLASSIC presentations! I would say it helped on the EOR, but that EOR was just hard regardless😂

👩🏻‍⚕️I personally didn’t love the job of the internal med inpatient PAs, except for in the ICU, but i definitely learned the most during this rotation!!

➡️ Next: FAMILY MEDICINE!!!!!!🫂🤗
