My love for collecting vinyls started towards the end of my junior year of high school but I have had an interest in music for a long time. I started out listening to 50s music when I was in elementary school then as I get exposed to other groups for different such as the Beatles, Rolling Stones, etc, that’s when things started to sound heavy with they way they played and sounded, but then I started to take interest in harder rock like deep purple, Black Sabbath, Rainbow. Then when the late 70s came around, punk began to the main thing replacing rock. Punk is not great in my opinion but some of it is ok, it just depends. Then in the early 80s, the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal movement began and was the UKs response to the punk movement, groups like Iron Maiden, Saxon, Judas Priest, Praying Mantis, Tygers Of Pan Tang, and many other began to hit the streets in the early to mid 1980’s. Once I discovered the new wave of British heavy metal, that’s when I began to love heavy metal and the metal scene at the time. Long Live Rock N Roll, Long Live Heavy Metal by @pat_monstwil

More vinyls that didn’t make it in the other post. These are pretty much what I started listening to when I was younger, very different than what I’m listening to nowadays by @pat_monstwil

Freshman year has finally come to an end, I’m extremely grateful for those who have helped me get to where I am in life, it means the world to me. Lots of ups and downs but it wouldn’t be a great or learning experience if there were no mistakes made, cross country was fun but I wasn’t mentally in it anymore but I’ve always been enjoying how my life is and taking chances. I’m very excited to now be majoring in history and can’t wait for what lies ahead, I enjoyed making new friends and getting out of my comfort zone and even got an ear piercing which is something I’ve never thought I would do, it was truly an amazing experience to be at Muskingum. Can’t wait for what lies ahead sophomore year, go Muskies and Up The Irons, thank you to everyone who have been so kind and welcoming to me taken in Muskingum University by @pat_monstwil
