They say there are three times in your life where you are close to perfect. The day you’re born, on your wedding day, and the day you die. On this, the fourth anniversary of your death, you are greatly missed by many, Dad. You taught me that perfect is impossible, but you can strive to be great. You were a great human, dad, mentor, guide, teacher, friend and confidant. I hope to be half as great as you. Rest In Peace Dad. by @patbush

I had a very vivid dream about driving to #seaotterclassic and arriving only to find I forgot my bike. That race hurts so much...you look for any reason to get out. Then you finish and you feel so good. Type 2 fun. Circa 2006 #clifbar #teamclifbar taken in Laguna Seca Raceway by @patbush

Fresh off The Hill with Conservation Alliance, thanking so many members on both sides of the aisle for the passage of a monumental Lands Conservation Package,S47 which will be signed into law on Wednesday at 1:45pm EDT. I am so grateful for the support of such a great company, Clif Bar and it's owners Gary and Kit. It is their long term vision that understands how important it is to "Protect the Places We Play" not just for us, but our kids kids. Not to mention, the Outdoor Recreation economy is $887B in consumer spending and 7.6 Million American Jobs. More than 100 years ago, President Theodore Roosevelt foresaw the crossroads at which we now stand. He
said, “The nation behaves well if it treats the natural resources as assets that it must turn over to the next
generation increased, and not impaired, in value.” #clifbar #conservationalliance #outdoorindustryassociation #wekeepitwild #cliflife taken in U.S. Capitol Visitor Center by @patbush
