Rainy day here in NYC so that means Erik Satie. Chill felt piano version of Gymnopedie 1. Combatting the AI generated slop that fills the “chill classical” playlists. Swipe right for a satie-inspired original composition and swipe all the way for the way chill effected piano. by @patcarrkeyboards

Come hang with us at our debut show playing instrumental soul jazz and funk originals at @katosakeworks on May 1, 8-9pm! No cover by @patcarrkeyboards

Casiopea- Midnight Rendezvous synth solo.

Casiopea keyboardist Minoru Mukaiya played this on a Moog Source but I think I got pretty close on a Prophet 6. What do you think? Love this record so much I got a T shirt to boot by @patcarrkeyboards

Long Distance Runaround Intro. Bout time for a grid post! Love this album, this band, this tune. Dont have the steez of Bruford to cover the drums but I can do Wakeman, Howe, (ish) and Squire (ish). The guitar definitely took me the most takes though 😉Featuring my own RMI keyboard which Rick definitely used on this track. by @patcarrkeyboards

Hey All! Its been a while since I posted some infotainment so here it is! Please do not try this on your own piano! Trying to get the key cover (fallboard) off without knowing how it works can cause scratches in the finish. Ive seen this many times in other pianos where the key cover was not taken off with care and has scratched the finish.

This was an emergency call from a customer who lost their pencil behind the key cover. The noise was driving them crazy so they called me to retrieve it. Ive had other emergency calls like this as well, even to retrieve an iphone!

Book with Metro Piano and you will get this kind of personalized and top notch service!

This past year I took the full freelance leap to start my own piano tuning service, Metropolitan Piano Tuning. (@metropianotuning) . After 10+ years getting experience and working under other great technicians, I decided to finally go out on my own and provide quality piano tuning to New York City. Its been going great so far! Ups and downs, busy weeks and slow ones but its a new step for me and Im excited to grow this thing further! Thanks to everyone who Ive worked with this year and tell your friends! Let me tune your piano!! 👍 by @patcarrkeyboards

Whoa! 14k views and counting on my previous reel! Heres another tuning comparison video on an upright piano. This piano definitely needed a good tuning! Luckily I tune pianos like this all the time so it just needed a good and solid pitch raise. Book a tuning and tell your friends to booK METRO PIANO #piano #pianomusic #pianotuner #pianotuningandrepair #pianotuning #pianocover by @patcarrkeyboards

Cleaning, repairing, and tuning an old Sohmer upright. Ive seen many of these sohmer pianos in the field. Time and the changing of seasons naturally takes a toll on a piano, but sohmers seem to hold up slightly better than other brands. by @patcarrkeyboards

Hello all!

As some of you know, I also tune and repair pianos in addition to playing piano and keyboards. After working for other businesses and institutions over the years, Im going out on my own and starting metropolitan piano tuning, my new piano tuning service. Im building this business from the ground up so spread the word! Follow here! @metropianotuning
