These men didn’t just change their bodies, they built a standard that changed the entire trajectory of their lives.

They no longer rely on motivation. They built discipline that doesn’t need it anymore.
They no longer make excuses. They take full accountability over everything.
They no longer asses blame. They only rely on themselves.

When you have these standards for yourself, you truly cannot be stopped.

Build The Standard isn’t about you making strides for a couple months.

3 Month Natural Transformation (Post marathon prep ➡️ Shredded corporate intern)

Pic on the left was right after a long marathon prep. I felt small, looked skinny-fat, I was nowhere near where I wanted to be.

In these last 90 days I committed to rebuilding my physique. Dialed in my nutrition, hit the gym 4x/week, getting in as many steps possible… all while working from 8-5 everyday.

This is the product of having structure paired with discipline, knowing exactly what needs to get done each day and then actually doing it.

If I can do it, you can too. Lock in and you’ll transform your life🥝 by @patcerullii

He was in the gym 5 times a week, doing cardio everyday, hitting his steps, and eating 1,500 calories a day.

He still couldn’t get any leaner.

He was doing everything he’d been told works. So he decided the problem was him.

He figured this was as lean as his body could get. Bad genetics. Nothing left to unlock.

Here’s what was actually going on: he was under-eating.

The training wasn’t the problem. Neither was the cardio or the steps. He had the effort covered.

The problem was 1,500 calories stacked on top of all that work. He wasn’t eating enough to fuel his training, so he wasn’t seeing progress. When he didn’t see progress, he assumed he had to try harder, and the cycle kept repeating.

So we didn’t ask for more effort. We fixed the part that was broken.

We raised his food. He now eats more than he ever has.

He kept training the way he already was, but now his body had something to work with.

He did this while working full-time in IT in finance.

5 weeks later his DEXA scan showed 3 pounds of fat lost and 1 pound of muscle gained.

He’s eating more than ever, he’s leaner than he’s ever been, and he’s still building muscle.

You’re probably not stuck because of your genetics. You’re probably stuck because your diet isn’t where it needs to be.

What do you do outside the gym is equally as important as inside to build and maintain a lean physique by @patcerullii

He was in the gym 4 days a week, and the scale still kept going up.

He was training the same way he did when he was in shape, with the same effort and the same consistency. But the weight kept climbing, and he couldn’t figure out why.

Here’s what was actually happening: binge and restrict. Over and over.

He’d eat clean all week and cut hard. Then work stress would stack up, the restriction would snap, and the weekend would undo everything. Then he’d feel guilty and restrict harder. Repeat.

The training was never the problem. He was doing plenty of exercise.

His eating habits were the problem. He had no structure and no consistency, just a cycle that kept dragging him back to where he started.

So we didn’t touch the effort. We fixed the system around it.

A nutrition plan he could actually follow while traveling and eating out, so there was nothing to rebel against.
A routine built around his real week, not some perfect week that doesn’t exist.
Someone holding him accountable every single week, so one bad dinner stayed one bad dinner instead of turning into a spiral.

When he stopped restricting, the rebound binges stopped too. The cycle broke because nothing was feeding it anymore.

And he did all of this during the most chaotic stretch of his life.

He switched jobs completely. He was working 45+ hours a week, finishing his last year of law school, traveling, and going to work dinners every week. He even had a hair transplant in the middle of it.

Most guys would’ve said “I’ll start after things calm down.” Things never calm down.

190 to 160. 30 pounds down. Leaner and more confident, with more on his plate than most guys will ever deal with.

Your schedule isn’t the reason you’re stuck. Your system is.
