#freejazz If you like this vibe, message me. We are booking for Spring now! European dates only unless a rich American wants to bring us. by @pathminusdestination

Something from a while ago. Since I will be doing some solo work soon, I am digging back into some of the stuff I was playing a couple years ago.

So my son Oliver has been on tour in China with the Vienna Boys Choir for almost a month so far. All the boys are tasked with writing a short summary of their experiences in a particular place. It was Oliver's turn to write, and they were in Weifang. Here is his super cute summary translated from German.

Weifang – Concert at the Concert Hall of Weifang Grand Theatre

We went to the Kite Museum today; it was really interesting. The paper kites were really cool – I love them. I took loads of photos! The experience with the VR goggles was also really cool; it was very interesting. First we were up in the sky, where we saw kites flying, and then we were in a sort of shopping centre.

In the middle of the museum there was a man flying a kite in the shape of a bird of prey.
It looked very difficult and interesting. Then
we went to the Arcades, which was also really cool; at first I didn’t know what to do at all. In the end I had loads of tickets and no more coins. I’d been given 900 tickets but didn’t buy anything because I found the experience much more interesting than the prizes. At the end of the concert with the G-school, I was given loads of flowers and each of us was given our own drone as a present; they’re very small and really cool.

Hit up my substack if you want to engage in stuff with me. I am trying to make it a more regular outlet for me to dig into larger questions and initiatives than "hey come see me play." by @pathminusdestination
