Still shots of the recent mural I painted in Atlanta w/ assist from @artbysohail celebrating vintage racing. It’s roughly 60’x 16’, painted with some roller but mostly brush using latex and @novacolorpaint I also used VR to help transfer the drawing, which worked out great. #atlantamurals #muralart #porsche #vintageracing by @pathobaugh2284

For this week only, ending Sunday, August 23rd, I am partnering with the nonprofit Arts Center @callanwoldefinearts offering $600 custom 11”x14” paintings, which you will have a year to redeem. You can commission the painting for yourself or give as a gift. Half of this price goes to supporting Callanwolde’s mission of providing arts education to underserved communities in the Atlanta area. The painting shows Batman, Washington, and a classic bust of Cincinnatus, over laying an excerpt of the speech where Washington says he is leaving at the end of his second term. Cincinnatus did the same in his time. On the other hand Batman never retires. by @pathobaugh2284

Here’s a commissioned still life I did for @emmaroberts I was excited about this one because it is referencing how an artist like #manet who we refer to as an old master, was referencing in his painting Olympia, another old master, #Titian and his Venus of Urbino. Manet had the brazenness to replace Venus with a Prostitute and so I continued the spiral down with Barbie. But the moment shown in this painting is anticipation- involving you as the viewer to be less a voyeur and more a director, leading the scene based off of the past paintings shown. by @pathobaugh2284
