Since I started posting a bit of content, a friend told me I should put out a bit of a mission statement. Who I am, what I’m doing, where I’m trying to get to, all that stuff. The truth is I’m really not that sure 😂

But pulling this together has been a nice framing exercise. Quite cathartic for a mind that likes to be tidied.

I’ve posted a handful of videos now and it’s mad how suddenly your feed is full of “how to be a creator” and “grow 5000 followers in a month” and “stop making shitty content and just do this!!” Overwhelming doesn’t cover it.  It’s also given me a new perspective on artists I work with and creators in general, because suddenly you feel very exposed. And in most cases people crawl out of the woodwork to say something kind. In others, less so. That’s life 🤷

Ultimately I just want to share what’s going on in my day to day, partly so I can look back on it, but also to open myself up to opportunities and hopefully open a few doors for other people.

My thing is trying to balance a life in the creative industries, training like a lunatic, and still finding time to do the things that give you real dopamine 🌅 by @patomills

If you’re spectating solo, you should challenge yourself a bit, you know?

Shout out to the human x AI partnership of Reddit and ChatGPT for devising and implementing the plan. Looks like the robots are working with us for now.

I saw a post from @carlnard about how the energy at an international major marathon is unmatched and, while I’ve still not found anything that comes close to a music festival, this really isn’t far off. It’s such an incredibly uplifting shared experience, and probably just as exhausting for everyone involved.

So amazing to see so many people running so fast, and big props to @geomiddleton for hunting down a PB.

Only took us two years, but @foreverdays finally returned to The Cause over the weekend.

The Shoreditch Half also happened to land on my doorstep the same weekend, so I decided to throw the two together for a weekend b2b.

Nothing can beat seeing all your mates on one dance floor, but running through the streets of London cuts it pretty close.

A tale of two parks.

Well… one park, technically. But it felt like the most fitting pun to describe two very different experiences in Finsbury Park this weekend.

Friday afternoon was spent doing laps of North London’s finest green spaces before heading back on Saturday for a belated birthday with @kasabianofficial and co.

Ran a half marathon, saved a squirrel, danced in the sun with my mates, had a banging Sunday Dishoom with my parents, did another not-so-enjoyable run, and imagined what life will be like when England win the World Cup in 53 days.

In my 10 or so years in London I’m not sure there’s been a May Bank Holiday as hot and fun as that.

A weekend at @diasdecampo_fest in a minute🏔️🚨

Excuse the croaky voice but over the weekend we headed to a festival an hour or so out from Valencia in Montanejos. It’s set alongside thermal springs and some mad hills, which are pretty sharp when you’re returning to the campsite at 5am 😅

There’s not a huge amount online, so here’s a quick overview of what’s on offer.

Shout out to @ryan.r.elliott, @ogazon.dj, @daniloplessow_mcde and @flo_masse for some killer sets over the weekend.
