Certains d’entre vous le savent peut-être déjà, mais aujourd’hui, nous officialisons la nouvelle.

Il y a près d’un an, Patqer Photonique Inc a réalisé sa toute première acquisition.

Nous avons acquis la technologie de Dynamic Beam Shaping, développée et commercialisée à l’échelle mondiale par LensVector, ainsi que l’ensemble de son portefeuille de brevets dans l’industrie de l’éclairage.

Au cours de la dernière décennie, LensVector a contribué à démocratiser une technologie révolutionnaire. Pour la première fois, il est devenu possible de contrôler électriquement le faisceau lumineux émis par une source — sans moteur, uniquement grâce à la lentille elle-même.

Certains considèrent qu’il s’agit de la percée la plus importante en éclairage depuis l’invention de l’ampoule. Nous n’allons pas les contredire. Ce n’est pas de la magie — c’est de la science.

Cette technologie a été développée entre Québec, Canada, et la Silicon Valley, en Californie.

Aujourd’hui, nous sommes fiers d’annoncer que la production se poursuit ici, à Québec, et que nous lançons déjà la prochaine génération de nos lentilles.

Some of you may already know, but today we’re making it official.

Nearly a year ago, Patqer Photonique Inc completed its first-ever acquisition.

We acquired the Dynamic Beam Shaping technology developed and commercialized worldwide by LensVector, along with its full patent portfolio in the lighting industry.

Over the past decade, LensVector has helped democratize a truly revolutionary technology. For the first time, it became possible to electrically control the beam of light emitted from a source—no motors required, just the lens itself.

Some consider it the most significant breakthrough in lighting since the invention of the light bulb. We won’t argue with that. It’s not magic—just science.

This technology was developed between Quebec City, Canada, and Silicon Valley, California.

Today, we’re proud to announce that production continues here in Quebec City, and we are already launching the next generation of our lenses.

La semaine passée, notre entreprise Patqer Photonique Inc basée à Québec, a fait sa toute première apparition à l’un des plus grands salons du monde dans le domaine de l’optique et de la photonique. Le SPIE Photonics West 2025 organisé par @spiephotonics SPIE, the international society for optics and photonics. Merci encore à Optonique pour cette opportunité. On va faire tout notre possible pour faire rayonner le Québec et le Canada sur la scène internationale.

Last week, our Quebec City-based company Patqer Photonique Inc made its first-ever appearance at one of the world’s largest optics and photonics trade shows.
