Rocksteady Christmas Concert at the Philharmonic

I couldn’t be happier to announce that I have put together a concert with an all star line up at the beautiful Cologne Philharmonic. Legends from our favorite 60s rocksteady recordings will be gracing the stage. Robbie Lyn on Keys, the great Clive Hunt, Dwight Pinkney and the legendary Lloyd Parks are forming the band. The real thing!
Interpreting Christmas Classics in a Rocksteady way feels natural and more fun. It makes otherwise cheesy situations cool. I’ve always liked that during Christmas family and community comes together in the inner circle. Creating occasions based on that kind of spirit and making them traditions makes for good culture.
I will gradually announce the artists hiding behind the Patrice and “friends” part.
You can get your tickets via the link in the bio and also listen to the “Patrice presents Rocksteady Christmas” album to get into the groove. More soon taken in Kölner Philharmonie by @patricebartwilliams

To lose “Victoriously“. What does this mean to you? And did anyone notice the vocal at the very end of the song and who the singer is? #20yearsNile by @patricebartwilliams
