Vogue Creative Class of 2025

At @MrsSaldos, Chef @RheaRizzo brings together flavors and techniques gathered from her years in kitchens around the world, from Bangkok to Napa Valley. Her international experiences come together through tasting menus that draw from Asian and global influences, grounded in classical French techniques.

“I feel like it’s such a disservice if I don’t use all of those experiences,” she says. “I’m a huge learner, and confidence comes from learning first and foremost, right? I try to understand as much as I can about the dish, the roots of the recipes, and the people behind them. And then, I try to put my own spin on that.”

What does it mean to truly understand a dog? For Elsie Pfleider, it goes beyond obedience. At The Pfleider School, training is a language built on trust, consistency, and the bond between dogs and their people.

From her years volunteering with rescued dogs to her work as a professional trainer, Pfleider has learned that sometimes, the key is not teaching a dog to adapt to us, but learning how to adapt to them. “There is life beyond obedience,” she says.
