One of the best days of my life! My first Ironman 70.3 in Switzerland.

It was an incredible experience and the feeling of crossing the finish line is indescribable.

I’m glad that the swim could take place despite the 14 degree water temperature, even if I’m not entirely satisfied with my performance there.

I actually felt quite good on the bike and the nutrition was right, but the 1100 meters of altitude difference made itself felt in the pace. I took it very easy so that I still had power for the run.

The run went very well and although I know that I could have done even better with an injury-free preparation, I am very happy with the run.

In general, it was an incredible experience and I can only recommend it to everyone.

What a journey the last 6 months have been.
