Beth Gold, my absolutely gorgeous dear friend is in town visiting. Haven't seen Beth in person in several years. A native BR girl, she is a wonderfully talented professional photographer with her business in Destin, Florida. We had a great time talking about old times and catching up. Beth is an accomplished young woman and one of my favorite people on Earth. Blessed meal at Ruth's Chris. Excellent time indeed... taken in Ruth's Chris Steakhouse by @patrick.bergeron2

Sad day... just found out my dear friend Bill Bryan died Friday. Bill was a good man! Always enjoyed our Louie's breakfast meetings. Bill was an attorney, former news photographer & reporter. He was an avid student of politics & worked for several campaigns & elected officials. He founded the Independent party in Louisiana. He was active in his church, the Blues Fest & he was always very attentive to the needs of his family. Bill will be greatly missed... by @patrick.bergeron2

Best tailgate ever inside the P-MAC! When it's 95 degrees & raining off & on air conditioning is awesome. Got invited to a private pre-game party. They even had the cheerleaders perform. GEAUX TIGERS BEAT CLEMSON! taken in Pete Maravich Assembly Center by @patrick.bergeron2

Gone fishing! Fun little trip down by Alligator Bayou. Nice private pond. Good company, only caught 5 fish, but it was very much fun. Next time I'll catch more, learned a few things. Blessed time indeed! taken in Alligator Bayou by @patrick.bergeron2

Great visit with Sydni Myers at Highland Coffees today. My friend Sydni is about to embark on a national tour with her band 'Karma & the Killjoys.' Karma is a great Louisiana musical act!

Karma and the Killjoys was nominated for Best Rock Artist and their debut album Hellscape was nominated for Best Rock Album for the “Best of the Beat” Offbeat Music Awards in New Orleans. They have played JazzFest the last couple of years.

Karma and the Killjoys is Rain Scott-Catoire (piano, vocals, songwriting), Sydni Myers (vocals, songwriting), Thomas Vercher (drums), and Tim Marchand (guitar).

Blessed Day For Sure! by @patrick.bergeron2
