For those of you who think you can’t do it, you can. Last October 10/20/25 I was diagnosed with cancer, specifically Non Hodgkins T Cell Lymphoma, and 2 days ago on 7/27/2026 I rang the bell. while I was super fortunate to have caught it early and got the best doctors ever. It was the hardest part of my life, and probably will be for the rest of my life. dealing with going to school while feeling horrible, being self conscious of the way I looked, falling asleep crying asking why I deserved this, afraid everyone around me was judging me because I felt so different, not being able to have fun with my friends doing even the most basic of things. Through all of this though I was never alone. To my friends who told me I was going to beat cancer, to my friends who helped push me in school, to my friends who treated me like I was still normal and didn’t look at me like I was weird, to my friends who still did stuff with me even if it was boring just because I felt self conscious of my appearance. And to my family who still treated me as if I was a regular person and didn’t treat me differently just because I had this disease, especially my parents who still pushed me to be me, thank you all so much. Theres no way I can put into words how much the support helped me, as many times I didn’t believe myself I would make it when you all did. This is post is for all of you, and for those of you who think you’re alone when you’re going through something, even in your worst times will you always have your friends and family to count on and bring you up.
