‘Lips Of Joy EP’ - Out today ONLY on Bandcamp and soon to be new service SUBVERT. These won’t be streaming. It debuts with two new songs with more being added irregularly. My first new music release in 5 years!

“So we are trying something. As Patrick works towards a new album to be released next year, we’ve decided to experiment with a ‘rolling’ EP. A collection of songs that we slowly add to as he finishes tracks on his own that he has earmarked for this Lips OF Joy EP. Once someone gets the LOJ EP, at whatever stage, the songs will automatically be added to their purchase to download as they are released.

We are debuting with the first two songs ‘Slow’ and ‘The Day Before’, all written and performed by Patrick Michael Dennis in his home studio(s).

NEW ART RELEASE - We are excited to announce our hand painted “Visual Singles” series In collaboration with @patrickdennis. We present to you the first piece, Mini-Single “No5”. Acrylic on raw canvas on board presented in a special screenprinted and hand-scribbled mini lp sleeve. Able to be hung or stood on a table top. I want to congratulate my lifelong family in @deadrockwest on the release of their album ‘Sequoyah’ digitally released today on @blackbirdrecordlabel ahead of the full vinyl release this autumn on Angel Flight Recordings.

I had the gift of working on the artwork for this album with @frankleedrennen, who shot all of the photography, committing all of the effects to the film within the camera. There’s no post production trickery going on except for a little color correction. No Ai. No photoshop comping. It’s all him.

He and I had a lot of fun doing this together as he art directed his concept for it and we pushed and pulled at the ideas. We’ve done a lot of things together since we were 17. Music, Art, burritos, chicanery, but this was one of the most fun. And it includes a tip of the hat to one of our first musical bonding moments together. Getting to do this cover and working with those images to create a cover for every single that was released was pure adventure. I can’t wait to hold a vinyl copy of this in my hands this fall.

Congratulations on a wholly unexpected and fantastic rock ‘n’ roll record from @cindywasserman, @frankleedrennen, @davidjcarpentermusic, and producers @tdrsmusic #DJBonebrake who also sat in the drum chair.
