Thanks for all the chats at the Perth CBD mobile office on Murray Street.

City workers, TAFE and ECU students, families enjoying some shopping.

We talked about everything, from housing and jobs to the future of AI.

Conversations that continue to energise me to keep delivering for our community and for Perth.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to chat. by @patrickgormanmp

Larni comes from a long line of hairdressers, from her mum to her aunties. Inspiring her drive to take her passion to the world stage.

“Hairdressing is so much more than working in a salon. It is an industry full of opportunities.”

Larni is absolutely right.

Team Australia has done us proud in Shanghai. Showing the world what Australian skills can do.

And I couldn’t be prouder of Team Western Australia! They have worn our green and gold with pride on the world stage. And now they’re home, ready for their next chapter.

What a journey. What an achievement, Congratulations! by @patrickgormanmp

Only Labor has the conviction to do this ⬇️

460,000 workers in female-dominated industries are receiving a pay rise thanks to Labor’s $630 million commitment.

For too long workers in these industries have been underpaid and undervalued.

These Australians deserve more than just our thanks. They deserve higher pay.

And only a Labor Government will deliver this. by @patrickgormanmp

“The only other politician I have ever met was Gough Whitlam”.

Honoured to be the second MP to sit down with Tom.

He was generous in sharing his views, insights and wisdom.

Thanks to all the Perth constituents who stopped by my CBD mobile office in the Murray Street Mall.

Good to chat housing, protecting multicultural Australia, renewable energy, AI, employment and much more. by @patrickgormanmp

As a young woman, Edith Cowan was denied access to higher education because of her gender.

Last night, in the heart of our city, Perth officially launched Edith Cowan University City Campus bearing her name.

A fulfillment of her vision that education should be available to all Australians.

$7.5 billion will return into the Australian economy from our investment, but its transformative impact is beyond measure.

It stands as a proud, permanent declaration that knowledge and learning belong to everyone.

I was proud to speak at the official launch last night.

Thank you to everyone who made this possible. The construction teams, the philanthropists, the academic and professional staff and the students who will go on to achieve more for themselves and our nation. by @patrickgormanmp

Spent the afternoon hearing from the next generation of young Australian leaders. (TL;DR: we are in good hands)

We spoke about leadership, the ups and downs of politics, how you stay true to yourself and how ideas turn into real change.

Their optimism for the future gave me energy.

Thank you to all of the participants at the Fogarty Futures Leadership Conference. by @patrickgormanmp
