Went to see COCK SPARRER play live in Saarbrücken, yesterday, in the best company.
Wow, they are still the best, after all these years. All the hits got played, old and new, to the delight of a German/french/Luxembourgish crowd.
Also this song, truly "even tough guys need someone sometimes"!
They already cared about men's well-being before it was trendy. An important message, right after the international mental health week.

People in and around Luxembourg!
This Saturday might be the last chance to see TOXKÄPP! live, this year!

Come on down to Tétange at "Schungfabrik" and see us play live with WEAKONSTRUCTION and THE DISLIKED for a night of skanking pogo dancing!
All of this for a good cause, so your contribution will help!

You can also get a lovely Chilli with or without meat and join in the responsibility for smelling up the place with bean flatulence.

Smell you there!

Today is the anniversary of my second home town, Santa Cruz de la Sierra in Bolivia.
I miss living in that beautiful city.
But today the Camba spirit flies high. Here's to you, beautiful Santa Cruz!
Viva!!

Many thanks to all of you who took the time to wish me well upon completing my 54th lap around the sun.

Your thoughtful kindness is much appreciated.

I had a blissful, peaceful day, in the company of the ones I love and I feel grateful and blessed for that.

Here's to another few rounds around the sun, before I am called to rejoin the blissful spheres from whence I sprung.

Back home now from Yacuiba, capital of the bolivian part of the Gran Chaco region.

It is a hilly, green, but slightly dusty region, which extends from southern Bolivia to northern Argentina and even into Paraguay and a comparatively small part of Brasil. The people a lively and love to celebrate, across borders....their identity seems to belong to the Chaco region first and foremost, then extending to their national identities.
They have their own style of dressing, typical dishes (and their beloved, fresh, "Chaqueño" cottage-style cheese), music and dances.
People live simple lives in small towns or they are farmers, have cattle and horses, and work in the fields to harvest the fresh produce? the region is famous for.

Come the weekend, they all party like it's 1999. They drink strong Yerba mate from traditional, or modern, "Porros" with the best of them.
The Gran Chaco has a way of finding a passage to your heart, and, once you've really seen and felt it, it will change you forever.
I really love this beautiful, charming region with its unique style!

Hasta pronto, Gran Chaco!

There's only one thing I would prefer to az Negroni, and that is a SINGRONI, the Bolivian variety, where you replace the Gin with a Bolivian Singani.
The rest stays the same. The nice bitterness stays intact, but the flavour becomes richer, more complex....a must-try!

Happy birthday, Juan Manuel, my father in law, a very special man to my heart, whose quiet authority and many talents inspire me every day!
He is someone who can build you a house, stitch your clothes, grow food for your family and cook a delicious meal from it, all at once! Without so many words or breaking a sweat.
He quietly, unobtrusively, reminds me what being a real man actually means. And I feel the richer for it.

A real "swiss-army-knife" kinda man. I feel blessed to know him . Here's to him!

Feliz cumpleaños, Juan Manuel !🥰🍾🎂 by @patrickkleinbauer

Last night we were fortunate enough to witness a near-total lunar eclipse over Yacuiba, southern Bolivia.

After the partial solar eclipse, last month, which we could witness over Ettelbrück, Luxembourg, this event was nothing short of breathtaking. The full moon, over a cloudless sky, was perfectly visible, then a shadow slowly started creeping over it, OUR shadow, until it was all but covered up.
Only a faint, reddish glow remained visible.

It was a quiet night, so one could hear the animals all around, getting disoriented, dogs were barking, roosters sounded off, unsure what time of day this was.

What a spectacle to witness with my beloved @yessgze and friends.
Feeling grateful!

Here I am back in beautiful Sucre, constitutional capital of Bolivia, (they also have an administrative capital in LaPaz, it's complicated), how beautiful to walk these streets again.
I didn't know I missed you.
Good to be back, though....!🇧🇴
