This new mural in Philly might be hard to find, if it’s not on your daily commute. Located directly outside the Broad-Ridge Spur stop at 8th and Market Streets, it’s also next to a PATCO stop and steps away from the Market-Frankfort line stop too! Commissioned by the owners of the Lit Brothers building (for which the mural technically lives on.) This artwork was created by @patrickvaleartist, inspired by four walks around Philadelphia! #PhillyMurals taken in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by @patrickvaleartist

One of my highlights from last year was making this infinite canvas drawing for @apple using @endlesspaper.app

This film is me talking through the process, the Ad was a 12 second edit.

I had a wonderful night at the @lucasmuseum gala celebrating its opening. The architecture is unreal and the atmosphere was incredible. GEorge Lucas and Mellody Hobson with Mad Architects have created something truly special and it’s so great to see Illustration and Narrative art finally getting its moment in the spotlight on this scale! The whole night was magic but creeping around empty galleries at the end of the evening looking at Rockwell’s prep drawings was a dream.

Many thanks to @tgrexperience ✨ 🎨 taken in Lucas Museum of Narrative Art by @patrickvaleartist

"THIS IS MY PHILLY:" A new mural in Philadelphia illustrates how our youth see the city directly from their perspective. UK artist and muralist, Patrick vale, collaborated with La Salle Academy Philadelphia to bring this project to life. There, students created their own portraits following a prompt: “This is My Philly.” by @patrickvaleartist

Artist @patrickvaleartist is back in Philly extending his 2025 subway mural, this time with local students! Located under 8th and Market by the PATCO/ Broad Street Line Spur entrance, the mural asked six young Philadelphians to create artwork in response to the statement, “This is my Philly.” Patrick then painted portraits of each student, along with their designs!

P.s. More murals on El and Subway stations, please! taken in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by @patrickvaleartist

“THIS IS MY PHILLY” 🚨

It was so brilliant to work with 6 students from @lasalleacademyphiladelphia on this project. I asked them to design posters inspired by the sentence “this is my Philly”

Over several workshops facilitated by the wonderful staff at La Salle we worked together to make the art for this mural. I painted their portraits and theydrew their posters. We had great fun doing so. I learnt a lot about their city through them, and came away energized by their vibrancy and ambition!

A huge thanks to @markpmelini at brickstone realty for your generosity and enthusiasm it was so fun working with you and your team. THankyou to all the staff at @lasalleacademyphiladelphia , what a fantastic environment you cultivate. Thanks to all the students I was lucky enough to work with this, it was so fun hanging out with you and hope to see you again soon! Keep drawing and using the word “brilliant”

A final thanks to @boccaccinimeadows @miki__mu @riiisaboogie @hnnh_hdsn on the painting and install assist ❤️

If you are in Philly, go check it out alongside the other giant mural, at the broad ridge spur in the subway area at Market and 8th st.
