Leaning how to prep fish in Japan vlog! This was a trip I took a while back to Atami learning the traditional Sanmai Oroshi (3piece fillet technique) from the Japanese Culinary Institute

Here’s a recent Columbia commercial I was cast in. Felt different to be in front of the camera this time instead of behind it. Since I started fishing during Covid I never expected I would end up being part of a major campaign here in China. It just goes to show if you are really passionate about something, you’ll get recognition for it. It was never about catching the fish just about enjoying the process.

Even though I grew up in Canada, I’ve never really properly experienced fishing here. Having moved to Shanghai for over 10 years I now have a far greater appreciation of the Canadian natural beauty and the amazing fishing it provides. #fishinglife #troutonthefly #euronymphing #britishcolumbiacanada #flyfishing taken in Vancouver, British Columbia by @patrickyqz

I was inspired by another reel to create this mock Netflix trailer from my trip to Iceland a couple years back. Voiceover using AI. Disclaimer: not by any means affiliated with Netflix. Just a fun edit. #troutfishing #iceland #flyfishing by @patrickyqz

First time in Berlin and had to link up with @bileg_runs for a weekend run sesh with @ayop.run. Berlin definitely has one of the most active run scenes, super chill and free donor kebab! #berlinrunners #runclub #runclubvibes #running #runnersofinstagram taken in Berlin, Deutschland by @patrickyqz

100KM through Mongolia.

Through the dark.
Through the climbs.
Through whatever was left in the legs.

Along the way, I found new friends, shared miles with incredible people, and found inspiration in runners who kept pushing long after it got hard.

𝗠𝗦𝟮𝗦 𝟭𝟬𝟬𝗞 — 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲. 🥇

Proud of the result.
Grateful for the people and the journey.

WE ON GO. 🇲🇳
