We are excited to begin introducing the artists shaping Calima’s first season! Meet Patricia Santamarina, Calima’s Rehearsal Director.

Born in London and raised in Havana, Patricia trained at the Cuban National Ballet School and went on to dance with both the National Ballet of Cuba and Acosta Danza, performing an extraordinary range of classical, neoclassical, and contemporary work around the world, including works by Goyo Montero, Christopher Bruce and Kenneth MacMillan.

Beyond her artistry, Patricia has been an invaluable collaborator in the development of Calima ans I’m so deeply grateful for her unwavering support. Her depth of experience and professionalism create a standard that others instinctively rise to. I’m deeply grateful to begin this new chapter with her shaping Calima from the inside out🤍 taken in Saint Augustine, Florida by @patrillet
