Alright friends, time to update you: Mama’s back on stage for the summer. I’ve got my tap shoes, Francis, and I’ll be playing the Production Tenor and understudying Don Lockwood in Singin’ in the Rain at Playhouse on Park. This movie made little eight year old me fall in love with theatre and declare it my goal to dance for a living. Cheers to 2025If I were to label 2024, I’d call it “the year I merely kept my head afloat and floated with the current.” Nothing catastrophic nor detrimental happened, and there certainly were great times throughout the year. That said, I found myself getting in my own way a lot, and I let a lot of personal goals and progress pass me by. Perhaps it’s the nature of the New Year, and I know in the past I’ve made goals that I didn’t keep. However, this year, I owe it to myself to take long standing dreams and make them real. In 2025, I resolve to power forward and leave phrases like “I should have done _____” or “I wish I had done___” behind me.
