We always have a vision when we walk into an empty space. cladding walls, infusing sophisticated antiques, layering décor and creating a distinct design..

But it doesn’t end with us. We’re designing for a client, and their preferences ultimately shape the space.

Our client’s brief guided the project, and we translated it into a space that reflects their personality.

I present to you, Project Aura.
A recently completed four bedroom duplex in 📍Lagos.

Another year of life, growth, lessons, and building a dream I didn’t always know where it would lead.

Looking back, I’m grateful for every step, every lesson, every connection, and every opportunity that has shaped the journey.

Above all, I’m grateful to God for preservation, grace, and how far He has brought me.

Happy birthday to me.

Sorry it’s a bit lengthy… but absolutely worth the read 😌👇🏿

1 Plan Before You Style ‼️
Many people jump straight into picking furniture, colors, or decor. But without a proper layout, your space can end up awkward, cramped, or costly to fix. Start with a functional plan first figure out zones, flow, and proportions then style confidently.

2 Measurements Matter👌🏿
Even the most stunning furniture, curtains, or rugs will fail if dimensions are off. Wrong sizes can ruin the look and functionality of your space. Always measure carefully before purchasing anything. it saves time, money, and headaches.

3 Budget With Strategy👌🏿
Interior design is an investment.
Always include a contingency for unexpected costs, and allocate funds wisely. Smart budgeting ensures you get maximum impact without overspending, and prevents costly mistakes later.

4: Function Over Trend‼️
Trends are fun, but they don’t last forever. A well planned space prioritizes practicality, flow, and usability, while still incornorating style.
timeless, comfortable, and useful for years.

5 Work With a Professional, Experience matters.
A trained interior designer understands how to balance aesthetics, function, and budget, helping you avoid costly errors.
Working with a professional turns your vision into reality efficiently and stress free.

Let’s approach this week intentionally and with purpose.
