I used to b so sad when somebody told me: “I lost my favorite person, I could care less bout losing u”!

Well, my have the tables turnt. I tell u today, I totally understand how that person felt. Seeing my pop n that casket was a pill I wasn’t ready to swallow.

Tomorrow we celebrate your life Harold W. Rusten. An amazing Man, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, uncle, cousin, a man that who stood on morals, family, values, and principles! Thank you pop for being more than just my granddad but my 1st love, the one who didn’t mind telling me I was doing stupid shit, the one who didn’t sugar coat anything, my football partner. Pop I will never forget the lessons and the conversations we had. I will never give up on making myself better because I owe it to me. Pop I miss u already, and tho ur not here in the physical I pray that u continue to show up for me as u always have (please visit me soon) I love u more than u loved sitting on Teddy Rusten porch. And I promise to stay focused, for I am a Rusten girl, with determination and grit n my veins.
