The evolution of local bike racing happens right before our eyes. Grateful for those who keep it alive and continue to offer opportunities for everyone to be part of this magnificent sport.

Long before Peak State Fit, I was shaped by small business owners who taught through example to show up, smile and work your tail off.

My parents were my first example. Early jobs at a garden center and a veterinary clinic taught me that no task was beneath you.

Later, the cycling industry gave Pat and me incredible mentors who helped shape the standard we hold today at Peak State Fit.

Hard work creates a ripple effect on everything you build later. We’re just getting started. @peakstatefit @cyclecafeslc 🦊🏆

Every postpartum body tells a story and every bike fit should honor that. @pattyocasey teamed up with world-class triathlete @skyemoench 💜 to unpack how thoughtful adjustments help athletes return stronger, more confident, and more connected to their ride after pregnancy.

If you’re an athlete navigating postpartum changes, this article in Cycling West magazine @cyclingwest is a must-read.

This one was memorable. When @neilshirley1 said “Let’s ride the volcano on Saturday” I couldn’t resist. We’ve talked about doing this ride for years. And if you’ve ever been lucky enough to do an epic ride with Neil, it’s guaranteed to be hard, but a helluva lot of fun. To experience a ride like this with someone I look up to so much, coupled with the support of one of my best buds @wattsofsnacks (who 100% made this effort possible) made this a day on the bike I will never forget.

I am so grateful for the people in my life, and for the ability to pedal a bike. I’m grateful for the energy of this island. And I’m grateful for the gift of mana - and for a mind and body to turn it into something special.🌋🌺🏝️🙏🏼
