Not all treasure is silver and gold.

Time to feel. Let’s walk the path together 🙏

Dear Wilmington,

I missed you while I was gone. I didn’t leave to discover myself, but to put an old dream to rest. I left to face my failures once more, to pave the road ahead with authenticity, and to shed the skins of uncertainty that do not belong on my shoulders. I always knew I’d return to you, but I never would have guessed how much time you’d spend on my mind.

We always hear of “island time,” the slow, almost carefree way of living alongside the sea. But time stands still in the mountains, and there is where my fire ignited. I would have stayed forever if I didn’t already know my truth - God speaks to me through the earth, but my own divinity breathes best under water, and those mountain streams will always flow towards home.

The great wide open tempts me with a glimpse of the heavens, where man and angels may coexist, but I have seen them in the waves of the east. Inland birds mimic the ocean’s dance and sierra winds sing her song.

Coastal highways showed me that true power lives in plain sight and gave me the opportunity to show up as myself for a stranger I’ll never forget.

What many labeled my true paradise was a simulation of a world I have no interest in. She lacks the perfect imperfections that exist only in reality.

Where aliens decorate the earth is where I felt the roots of your community, the family I’ve chosen, and the comfort of vulnerable creativity.

Sacred are the sands of Sedona where ancient light tends to find me. But how selfish would I be to remain where no one else can feel it? So I accept responsibility, onward, back to you with these treasures I carry.

I bury my past, I seal my scars, I open my heart to the world and trust in the magic of art. I return to you a new man I’ve always been. The walls have fallen and I shall not rebuild them.

I see myself in you - rugged, simple, pure, and I would break my back again knowing it’s you who has helped me stand. I accept your shadows, for I know now how to light the way.

I write this to thank you - you are the home I’ve always craved.

Stay Free,
Patrick W Ulacco

Two practices. One evening. One space to slow down and settle in. 🌿✨

Join us Tuesday, August 18 at Station No. 2 for an evening that moves from Tai Chi into guided meditation, with time in between to connect, relax, and simply be.

We’ll begin at 4:30 PM with Will Roemer for 60 minutes of Tai Chi, exploring slow, intentional movement and breath. After a short break, Pat Ulacco will guide us into Tranquil Tuesdays, carrying that sense of stillness from movement into meditation.

The best part? You can experience both classes together for $22, saving $18 compared with booking them separately.
