Happy 21st Birthday to my niece Janeisa @visualsbyjs!! My, my where has the time gone. I love the lady you’ve become. You’ve always had a smile on your face with such sincere eyes, and you’re always down for a fun time with us. This song always reminds me of you because we added a Kid-N-Play dance to it at Mima’s. I want to wish my nephew @ryan_12011 a very Happy 21st Birthday!!! Ry, you have made us all so proud. You’ve are such a beautiful soul, who got me into Invincible & Spider-Man. I’ll never forget you at 10 years old when I asked all of you to name a song you want to hear, and you said “I want to hear Nirvana Lake Of Fire”. Let me tell you, I had to take a double because that gave me such joy. Not your usual 10 year old reply and not your usual Eminem music choices at the time, but Nirvana, and you sang it word for word. That put the biggest smile on my face. Every time I hear that song I think of you. It was my honor to take you to your 1st real concert The Red Hot Chili Peppers. I gotta say Ry, you’ve got great taste bro. I love your music choices. In a nutshell nephew, you are smart, kind, generous, confident and so competitive. All that and with a great smile! We love you so much Ry. May God continue to bless you and watch over you. I want to wish one of my best friends in this whole wide world a very happy birthday. For me, you’ve been the best friend, brother, shoulder, producer and DJ that I could ask for @djnasty , and I couldn’t be prouder. We’ve talked about music from A-Z, every genre, every blend, every mix and I wouldn’t change those talks for nothing in my life. You and Lenny are the reason I went and became an audio engineer. I always envied coming to your house as a teen to hang out in the garage and would see you Lenny and Freddy with instruments and a music vibe all throughout that house, and how I wished so bad that I was your sibling just to have music around me like that. It was truly the best of times for me. Long live Ligustrum. Nas, I know your heart is overflowing today with every emotion for your loss, and at the same time your birthday, so look at it like a celebration of life all around. What can I say about a Semoran Girl that has been my rock since the 80’s. We’ve been riding for each other literally every single event in our lives good and bad. We have driven to every corner of Orlando together, she turned me onto Reggae when all I wanted was hip hop. She has been my club partner since The House days. She was my ear to the streets when I had to be home by 10pm. She introduced me to Nasty & Khaled. She taught me how to do a specific move to Das Efx “They Want Efx”, lol. She is my best friend in this whole world and I thank God every day for her. Kiomaris, thank you for being a shoulder, a referee, a voice of reason, a therapist, my personal doctor, a sister and everything in between. Most importantly, thank you for being a friend.
