My Design Edit from Maison&Objet ✨

After a few very intense days walking the halls, these are some of the pieces, colours and details that made me stop.

Sculptural lighting, playful ceramics, unexpected materials and a lot of colour — exactly the kind of design discoveries I love finding at Maison&Objet.

Featuring some of my favourites from this edition:
Crème Atelier, Boca de Cobra, Deft Studios, The Lemonade Home, Editions Milano & Paolo Santangelo.

A flower growing out of the Grand Palais 🌸

For @parisdesignweek @uchronia_world takes over the Rotonde d’Antin with Le Grand Bouquet — a monumental installation inspired by the floral motifs already hidden within the architecture of the Grand Palais.

The oversized petals, soft colours and playful forms create such an unexpected contrast with the historic setting — and somehow, it works beautifully.

Designed as a celebration of joy, imagination and togetherness, this might be one of my favourite discoveries of Paris Design Week so far.

I’ve been following and loving @masquespacio_ana @masquespacio_chris work for years. Their bold use of color, unexpected shapes and ability to create spaces with a real identity always gets me.

So seeing them bring their universe to @maisonetobjet with Feel the Shift feels particularly special. 💙

This immersive installation is also a reflection of the evolution of Masquespacio: still unmistakably them, but with a new focus on creating spaces that feel more human, emotional and connected.

The colors are there. The playfulness is there. But there’s something different too. Softer. More instinctive. More about how a space makes you feel.

And honestly? I could have stayed here for hours.

A very special way to start this edition of Maison&Objet. ✨

What happens when one of Paris’ most iconic department stores becomes a celebration of Brazilian creativity? 🇧🇷

This summer, Brésil Samaritaine – Bold Summer Édition transforms @samaritaineparis into an immersive journey where art, design and fashion come together through a distinctly Brazilian lens.

From @papelariainstagram monumental paper garden inspired by Roberto Burle Marx to @pedroyossef suspended metallic birds floating through the atrium, each installation invites visitors to experience Brazilian creativity through texture, movement and craftsmanship.

Curated by @patmonteiroleclercq with the artistic direction of @ludafonseca the exhibition creates a beautiful dialogue between Brazilian modernism and Parisian elegance.

An inspiring evening in Lille. 🇫🇷

There is something special about bringing the design community together beyond the fair itself.

@maisonetobjet gathered designers, retailers, architects and hospitality professionals from across the region for an evening of inspiring conversations and meaningful connections.

A special thank you to our French ambassador, @partipris.concept represented by @sosoomao , for sharing her entrepreneurial journey, and to @hortenseleluc for leading such an inspiring conversation.

Thank you to everyone who joined us—we can’t wait to welcome you to Paris for the September edition of Maison&Objet.

One of the things I loved most about my time in Cape Town was discovering the incredible richness of South African design.

Some of these studios caught my eye while wandering the aisles of Decorex, whose carefully curated exhibition offered a fantastic snapshot of the country’s creative scene. Others were introduced to me thanks to Tracy Lynch, who generously took me on a design tour across the city and opened the doors to inspiring studios and showrooms I might never have found on my own.

This carousel is a small edit of seven design names that left a lasting impression on me. Each has its own identity, but they all share a remarkable sense of craftsmanship, materiality and creativity.

If you’re passionate about interiors, furniture and contemporary design, these are definitely names worth following.

A big thank you to the entire @decorexafrica team for such a beautifully curated show, and to @tracyleeloves for sharing her knowledge and love of Cape Town’s design scene.

Cape Town, what an inspiring few days. 🇿🇦

It was a privilege to represent @maisonetobjet at @decorexafrica Cape Town for the announcement of the Rising Talents Awards South Africa, celebrating the incredible creativity, talent and vision shaping the future of African design.

Beyond the conference and the event, what I’ll remember most are the inspiring conversations, new connections and the opportunity to discover such a vibrant creative community.

A huge thank you to the entire Decorex Africa team for your warm welcome, flawless organisation and wonderful partnership. It was a pleasure bringing this event to life together.

Honoured to be joining Future Talks 2026 at @decorexafrica representing Maison&Objet.

I’ll be joining South African designers and members of the @maisonetobjet Rising Talent Awards jury to explore how international platforms, creative institutions and cross-border collaborations are opening new opportunities for emerging talent across Africa.

As global connections continue to reshape the design landscape, we’ll discuss the power of cultural exchange, creative partnerships and fresh perspectives in shaping the future of African design on the world stage.

I’m particularly looking forward to engaging with the inspiring South African design community, exchanging ideas and celebrating the creativity, innovation and talent driving the continent forward.
