There are event planners... and then there’s Paula. ❤️ @paulaowner

I honestly don’t even know where to begin because “thank you” doesn’t feel like enough.

When I first reached out to Paula, I told her my vision for my party. If you know me, then you know I overthink everything and get so nervous. I had all these ideas in my head, but I was second-guessing myself.

Paula didn’t just listen, she called me and talked to me like a big sister. She said, “Stephanie, I got you.”

And from that moment, I said, “Paula, I trust you.”

Best decision I could’ve made.

Not only did she bring my vision to life, but she exceeded every expectation I had. She thought of things I never would’ve imagined, paid attention to every detail, and executed everything with excellence. She truly went above and beyond.

But what means the most to me isn’t just the beautiful event she created. It’s the person she is. Through this process, I gained so much more than an incredible event planner. I gained a friend and a big sister.

Paula, thank you for loving what you do and for loving your clients so well. Your heart shines through everything you touch.

And if this tells y’all anything about how much I trust her... my next event is my wedding. 😂 At this point, all I want to do is tell her the colors, the guest count, and let her work her magic because I know she’ll make it even better than I could ever imagine.

Last night… I don’t even know if I have the right words yet, but I need to try. Because the Dr. Etienne Summer Soirée wasn’t just a party. It felt like a moment God paused and said, “Look at how far I brought you.” I kept walking around just taking it in… smiling in disbelief. Because I remember when this was just an idea. Just me, a dream, and a long road that didn’t always feel certain. And now I’m standing in it… surrounded by people I love, hearing my name in rooms I used to pray for. @paulaowner I don’t even think you understand what you did for me. I called you right after I finished my DNP and said, “I need you. I want this to feel like me.” I sent you a picture and you said, “I got you.” But I was nervous. I kept checking in like, “Paula… are you sure?” And every time you stayed calm and said, “Stephanie, I know what you like. I know what you deserve.” And you meant it. Because when I walked in last night… I stopped. I literally stood there like, “This is mine?” Paula… you didn’t just plan an event. You brought a vision to life. I adore you deeply. This was intentional, elevated, and it was me. I will never forget it. To my family,thank you for showing up for me in ways people don’t always see. To my brother, Dr Peterson, my personal Psych and Forensic Physician.The one who showed me what discipline and purpose look like in real life. To my TPR family, thank you for showing up and making me feel seen, supported, and celebrated. I felt it all. To my Speema Babes @shaybien___ @vee.3xo @handmadeby_rita thank you for the laughter, the energy… you didn’t just attend, you helped create the moment. To my parents, thank you. I don’t take it lightly. And to my little sister @nyla.etne look at this moment. Not just the celebration, but the journey. Nothing about this was easy. But everything about it was worth it. And I need you to know this: there is nothing you cannot become. I am living proof. I don’t take this title lightly. I don’t take this life lightly. I don’t take this moment lightly. So I guess it’s only right to say it now…
