GAMES PEOPLE PLAY is OUT NOW!!!
I’ve been counting down the days for this one. It’s finally out, and I’m so excited to share it with you 🤩🌀

I really wanted to create a video that captured the 80s vibe of the track, and with the help of my boyfriend @7th.era and bestie @inyourfayes , we made it happen! 🎬

Huge thanks to Alex for letting us shoot at your incredible Retro Audio Museum. The location truly brought everything together. If you’re into all things retro and audio, you should definitely check it out. It’s a hidden gem.

The story behind Games People Play 🌀

About 10 months ago, I asked my mum if she knew any cool songs from back in the day.
She sent me Games People Play. Within seconds I knew: yup, this is the one.

Once the track was done, I sent it to @pleasurekraftofficial .
Didn’t expect much, but he replied 🤩, downloaded it, and played it.
How I found out? I was helping out @deroulatie when I suddenly got a DM from @pleasurekraftofficial he’d posted a photo of the tracklist…

He played it in Johannesburg for Drumcode.

I literally jumped through the roof.
And then… it got signed to his label, @kraftekmusic
Could not believe it.

Since this was my first solo release, I wanted to create something special around it.
Something that honoured the 80s energy of the track, but also felt like me.
@jessedegans tipped me off about @retroaudiomuseum , and after a quick chat to Alex, we were in.
The location, the vibe it all just clicked.

Together with my besties @inyourfayes & @7th.era , we brought the vision to life.
Shot everything in a day and had the best time doing it.

To top it off, I threw a small release party with close friends.
Honestly, the perfect way to celebrate. 👯‍♀️

Thanks to everyone who’s listened, shared, played or messaged me about this one.
You made this feel really special. 🥰🫶🏼

I know this isn’t your usual quick 10-second dopamine hit. 😳

I love creating tension in my sets, so I thought why not post the whole clip, lol.

So here’s a 1:44 min video of me mixing two songs together.

⟶ Out now: Paula van Klar — Silver EP

Across “Surrender” and “Silver”, Paula enters the No Mercy catalogue with a big debut. Welcome on board!

Dark at times but always uplifting, the EP reflects those moments when you feel pushed aside, find your own strength and finally let go. Peak-time techno with an immersive pull that reaches beyond the dancefloor.

A confident first chapter from an artist with a genuinely promising future.
