Found my old Art College Portfolio clearing out the spare room. This is a preparation drawing with stretched paper on a drawing board with wet ink flooding techniques to create dark clouds for some Edgar Allan Poe book jackets I was working on. Loved finding all this stuff again. by @paulbarrydesign

@paulbarrydesignstudio Blimey 20 years of PBD 20 years of consultant strategic guidance for heritage brands who want longevity with a dash of contemporary cool. Taking inspiration from the stuff I love most - art, cinema, books and wondering round with my camera taking pictures of street style and travel destinations. Big love + thanks to everyone who’s worked at the PBD Nest and all who’ve collaborated with us to bring our vision to life. Why do kids jump from this bridge in Porto? For the fun of it! If you ever visit Porto, go down to Ribeira, the old neighbourhood beside the Douro. People have been jumping from the Dom Luís I Bridge for generations — boys and girls climbing up it, sometimes with rosary beads in their mouths and a prayer before they make the 20-metre drop down to the river. I took these photographs on my old Pentax - Held my breath the whole time, praying they’d make it! #paulbarrypictures #filmphotography #pentax #ilfordfilm #everydaypeople by @paulbarrydesign

I’m so glad the heatwave has gone in London. It’s no good for my Paddy system. I was completely stressed and frazzled when we arrived in Hawai‘i. Having landed safely the day after the hurricane hit the Big Island and caused no trouble to our holiday, other than being forced to relax more than normal, the outdoor showers, perfect weather, insanely tasty fruit etc. greeted us and were so healing. I wondered if Hawai‘i had a meaning while I was there. Breath. Water. Spirit. The name has a slightly mysterious origin, but there’s a beautiful interpretation of it as breath + water + spirit. It’s so perfect. 🌿🌊 by @paulbarrydesign

DAKS Autumn Winter 2026 is inspired by the architecture of London. The concept explores the connection between fabric and structure, revealing how tailoring, texture and form echo the geometry and ever-changing character of the city. This collection brings together British heritage and modernism, reinterpreting the iconic DAKS House Check for today.
