Raced for the 3rd time this year with the @radical_cup_europe gang for the Radical World Finals couple of weekends ago in Barcelona, in the @ampitogroup SR3.

Made a few silly mistakes over the event but sent it as usual, P5 overall and P1 old farts category. I’ve no idea what all the trophies are for and they gave me a nice watch for doing something or other. Podium champagne technique might need some work.

Enjoyed every minute of mucking about with the @rsrregentservices guys and racing with John McCrash and EU / World Champ @littlewoodmarcus . Huge congratulations to you and your family team on making it happen mate. by @pauldenning25

🇮🇹 Ci sono momenti in cui il cronometro si ferma e le corse passano in secondo piano. In questa clip, @pauldenning25 torna con la memoria al terribile incidente di Yukio #Kagayama a #CadwellPark nel 2003.

Paul racconta i momenti drammatici che seguirono e come, in quei minuti, il suo ruolo passò da Team Manager a diventare letteralmente un’ancora di salvezza per il pilota giapponese.

Quel momento così difficile andò ben oltre il box, dando vita a un’amicizia destinata a durare per sempre e rafforzando ulteriormente il legame con #Suzuki.

Ma la storia non finisce lì. Con una straordinaria dimostrazione di forza e determinazione, Kagayama tornò in pista già l’anno successivo. Nonostante fosse costretto a correre con una sacca per colostomia, superò il dolore fino a conquistare un incredibile 3° posto assoluto nel British #Superbike Championship 2004.

🇬🇧 There are moments when the stopwatch stops and racing takes a back seat. In this clip, Paul Denning looks back at Yukio Kagayama’s horrific 2003 crash at Cadwell Park.

He opens up about the terrifying moments that followed and how his role shifted from Team Manager to a literal lifeline for the Japanese rider.

That dark moment went far beyond the pit garage, forging a lifelong friendship and cementing a stronger bond with Suzuki.

But the story does not end there. In a great display of sheer grit, Kagayama returned to the track the very next year. Despite having to deal with a colostomy bag, he pushed through the pain to finish an incredible 3rd overall in the 2004 British Superbike Championship.

🇮🇹 Quando gli chiediamo chi lo abbia ispirato, @pauldenning25 parla della sua famiglia e di un’infanzia non agiata, ma comunque serena. La filosofia di suo padre era semplice: “Fai quello che puoi, rispettando ciò che hai”.

Lo ha sempre sostenuto e si è sempre fidato completamente di lui. “Mi lasciava abbastanza corda, ma tirava il freno quando era necessario”.

Senza nemmeno rendersene pienamente conto, suo padre è diventato il suo più grande modello: un esempio puro di #amore e #leadership.

Una lezione che Paul ha portato con sé per tutta la vita e la sua carriera, influenzando il modo in cui oggi guida, si fida e sostiene le persone che lo circondano.

🇬🇧 When asked who inspired him, Paul talks about his family and his not wealthy but comfortable upbringing. His father’s core philosophy was straightforward: “Do what you can, respecting what you have”.

He always supported and trusted Paul completely. “He gave me enough rope, but pulled the brakes when necessary”.

Without even fully realizing it, his Dad became the ultimate role model - a pure example of love and leadership.

Oulton Park, mid 90’s. #Superbike qualifying at a @officialbsb round. Paul is tackling #Knickerbrook, one of the most technical corners of the circuit, to the absolute best of his and the bike’s ability.

In that exact moment, Niall #MacKenzie, former 500cc class rider and eventual three-time BSB champion, picks him up at what seems to be twice the speed.

Paul remembers thinking: “if that’s really what it takes, I am not sure I am in”.

A sliding door, a moment of reckoning, that probably closes his career as a rider and opens the next one as Team Principal.

Round 4 Nurburgring.

We welcomed back @pauldenning25 after last racing at Mugello. It’s unbelievable what he can do in a car! He doesn’t have any fear, a real racer and enthusiast for motorsport!

Race 1
A very eventful first race, with Paul and Marcus crashing out in the first corner. Well done to John for keeping out of it and racing on to a strong 2nd place finish overall.

Race 2
The main man himself, @littlewoodmarcus showed us just how brilliant he is and won by a massive margin. @pauldenning25 coming in 4th and John finishing 7th.

Thank you Creventic for an amazing calendar and support throughout the weekend. Next we fly to Barcelona for the final round of the championship.

Well… race 1 didn’t go to plan, 1 of 5 cars taken out when @jahid_kahm_77 decided he had enough talent to brake 50m later than everyone into turn 1 🤷🏻‍♂️👏 Lots of damage but @anthony_711 and the boys are on it. Morning saved by @rdjb0 who turned up with a consolation 11am beer 🍺 🤪 by @pauldenning25
