Introducing Studio Parallel, founded by guitarist/producer Kevin Patrick and engineer/producer Paul Gaastra.

In 2024 Paul moved to Beverwijk and began searching for a local space to set up a dedicated mixing studio. The goal was simple: create a place close to home that made high-quality mixing and mastering possible without commuting to Amsterdam.

The search led to the broedmachine, where Paul got introduced to Kevin. We quickly realised we share a similar vision, but from different perspectives: Kevin is mainly focused on songwriting and production and Paul on studio engineering, recording, mixing and mastering.

In the summer of 2025 we decided to team up. From that moment, the studio went through a complete transformation: new acoustics, new layout, new instruments, speakers and microphones. What started as Kevin’s production room has grown into a hybrid space built for writing, recording, producing, mixing and mastering.

The name reflects more than our location. It’s about our creative lives running side by side. Two different backgrounds, but a shared vision.
