One of my childhood inspirations, Zavick, true artist and rebel at heart! What a treat to bump into him this morning 🌄

I grew up with the story of him secretly spray painting red scissors all around Graham's town. Few days later there was a write-up in the local paper about how the Red Scissors ✂️ markings meant that the Devil was about to arrive.

People's perception on art has always fascinated me, and it carries with me when I build out software and user experiences (UX).

I always admired how underdog and playful his art was. His approach is always self exploration.

Art is a habit, even in user interfaces, you build with human behavior in mind. Everything is about how you affect other people's perception.

Happy birthday mom. Congratulations on reaching 70. I love you more than anything 💕

My sister and I took my mom & dad to a little Dairy farm called Melkhout out in Robertson. She was surrounded by cows and family (my mother’s nickname is Moo – short for Miriam). With a cooler box full of Amstels, there was no better way to spend her special day.

My twin sister, Philippa, made this beautiful cake.
