“This is just a testament of that you never give up.” — @kenroczen94

When Ryan at @moto101uk asked what I thought should go on this wall, my mind went straight to what I believe is the greatest sporting moment I’ve ever witnessed.

This mural wouldn’t exist without Ken’s incredible championship victory in May this year.

I’ve watched Ken race for years, and seeing what he’s been through and what he’s gone on to achieve is genuinely inspiring.

I hope this piece serves as a reminder to anyone who sees it: never give up on yourself, no matter what stands in your way. by @pauliepush

We can’t wait for you to all see it and reveal where is it 😬

Massive thank you to @pauliepush. The detail is unbelievable.

Starting with Roczens championship winning interview in words to the this absolute masterpiece 🤯

You’ve smashed it 👏

How many like do we need @kenroczen94 to make a visit?!

A tribute to Ken Roczen, his incredible comeback, and a truly inspirational championship victory.

To get the artwork onto the wall at the correct scale, I needed to mark out reference points using the doodle grid method.

It felt fitting to use Ken’s own words from his speech immediately after winning the championship as those reference points. A small detail that connects the process of creating this piece to the story behind it.

I’m beyond stoked to have collaborated with @moto101uk to bring this one to life. Hopefully, it’ll serve as a reminder to everyone that even when things get tough, we’re capable of overcoming some pretty big challenges.

Thanks to @kenroczen94 for being an incredible sportsman and an inspiration to us all. 🙏🏻

Something we’ve been keeping under wraps for the last 2-3 months! It’s a good one!

A big project. A new challenge. And outside my usual comfort zone.

At one point I seriously considered getting someone else to take on the execution. But the project meant too much to me to hand it over, so I decided to figure it out myself.

A lot of hours, even more coffee, plenty of problem solving and a fair amount of learning.

It’s finally finished.

I’m pretty stoked with how it turned out.

Two visual languages built for different jobs.
The main identity stayed clean and recognisable across every touchpoint.
Alongside it sat a louder layer that appeared in packaging, event handouts and smaller details.
