When I recorded my dance cover of You’re Still the One, I also sat down and captured a stripped-back acoustic version.It’s softer, more intimate, with extra harmonies layered in — a little moment to really let my voice and the emotion of the song shine through. 💫This acoustic take is something special to me and it is a little exclusive on my Covers 5 CD. Happy 3rd Birthday to our boy Cooper❤️It’s funny how one little dog can change your whole perspective on life.Before Cooper came, I never realised how much an animal could teach you. He’s taught me to slow down, to get outside even when I don’t feel like it and to find joy in the simplest things.Through some really challenging moments over the last few years, he’s been my constant. He never asks for anything other than a walk, affection, playing with his toys and occasionally loves the treats. Yet somehow he’s given Kim and I so much more in return.He’s made me want to become a better version of myself. That’s a pretty incredible gift for someone who can’t say a single word. They just love us exactly as we are. There’s something really beautiful about that and I wish the world worked a little more like they do.Cooper, thank you for filling my life with laughter, unconditional love, muddy paws, endless entertainment, and memories I’ll treasure forever.I honestly don’t know what I did to deserve you, but I’m so grateful you chose us that day. Had such a great time in Brighton. Congratulations @brightonbearweekend for putting such a well organised event and providing tents for us under the blazing sun.🙏🏼 I’m grateful to my community supporters for coming to visit - thank you for making it a great experience.
