7 weeks to Dublin Marathon. Last Saturday was between 23 to 27C here, so opted to do continuous run, after 1 calibrate mile, of 17 miles on treadmill with gel every 30min. No step off (reset tread every hour included), elapsed pace 10:39. Goal pace will be 9:50 to 10 min. #dublinmarathon taken in Columbia, Maryland by @paulnolan97

This is the state running club ten mile championship. Nice race in waterfront city with twice over a bridge. Decided to do it about two weeks ago but as a well supported training run. Had run thirty miles since Monday with no rest days so it’s just a chance to take advantage of the water/gatorade stops and get a feel for possible future marathon pace. Start and finish was at Navy Marine Corps Stadium. Was 8th of 43 in 70-74 age group. Nice swag zip up included in the fee. taken in Navy–Marine Corps Memorial Stadium by @paulnolan97

The best part of visiting the Sydney Botanical Gardens was seeing the remembrances that people left of loved ones on the benches. Reminded me of the park in Notting Hill movie. These were my favorites. taken in Botanic Gardens of Sydney by @paulnolan97

Tried to leave for Australia Tuesday, but departing Delta plane arrived with a dead battery, Delta rebooked on American for today but the plane in Dallas had engine problems and would have caused an overnight delay in Houston, so bought a last minute seat on United and am on my way to LA, with any luck the connection holds and i get to Sydney Thursday evening Eastern US time and 7am Sydney time to take an afternoon flight to Sunshine Coast. This is the marathon before the marathon. by @paulnolan97
