What is a Pajarete?
* The Origin: Born in the rural ranchos of Jalisco (and neighboring Colima and Michoacán), it was originally created as an energizing “levantamuertos” (dead-lifter) breakfast for field and dairy workers.
*
* The Ingredients: A clay mug is lined with instant coffee, powdered chocolate (like Abuelita or Calahua), sugar, and a shot of high-proof cane alcohol (alcohol de caña of 96° or tequila).
*
* The Process: The cup is taken straight to a pen or barn where a goat (or cow) is milked directly into the mixture, creating a warm, thick, and ultra-foamy drink.
*

Cultural Tradition & Consumption
* Timing: It is consumed strictly in the early morning (typically between 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.) while the milk is warm and fresh from the animal.
*
* Customs: Many drink it as a traditional remedy for hangovers, a comfort drink, or a social weekend morning ritual.
*
* Safety Note: Traditional pajaretes use leche bronca (raw, unpasteurized milk), though some vendors briefly ignite the alcohol beforehand to temper and blend the flavors. by @paulosophy5150

The Spanish version of my 1st self-published book, Hejira. Viajes Internos y Externos, meaning travels both internal and external.

The secondary title, "El viaje hacia el empoderamiento con música y magia más allá de la matrix," translates to The journey towards empowerment with music and magic beyond the matrix.

Translated with assistance from my wife, it is also available in paperback at the website below. English version available in paperback and Kindle formats.

My first attempt as an author and completely self-published. Part auto-biography, but also written from the point-of-view of a musician and seeker of a deeper truth about how our world operates and how we have been manipulated.

The title taken from my favorite Joni Mitchell album also meaning a personal pilgrimage or exodus, moving away from a world that no longer resonates with with a personal deeper truth.

A red-pill like invitation (if you've seen The Matrix trilogy, you understand the term) to explore esoteric knowledge and implement it into a world that helps us navigate the larger truths of the world, self-empowerment, discovering our personal gifts, and recognize a deeper truth about ourselves. A truth that transcends conditioning, society, politics, religion and false belief systems.

The English version is available in paperback and Kindle from the link below. Also available in Spanish in paperback.
