And just like that, our baby is ONE!
•••
One year of motherhood.
One year of the new me. The new us.
One year of my heart living outside of my body.
One year of growth—his and mine.
One year of my whole world fitting warmly into my arms (both Paul and Shelby—we love a group hug ‘round here).
One year of the hardest, best thing I’ve ever done.

Divinely designed. Perfectly suited to us in every way. The boy that made us a family of three. Shelby is our greatest blessing. @pauloveragain, we did it. We laughed and cried and panicked and felt pride like we never imagined. I’m so grateful for you—for the family we’ve created, for the past year, and for the years to come. We have so much to be grateful for and even more to look forward to. Always us.

My son, “I love you” doesn’t even begin to cover it. And yet, I love you. I love you a million times over. Forever, no matter what. You don’t need to earn it. You cannot lose it. My love for you is constant, like the passing of time. And oh boy, does time sneak by! Happy birthday. It’s an honor to be yours. 🩵

It’s fun to be one 💫🥳🎂

We’re so grateful for everyone that came out to celebrate Shelby’s big day and shower him in love. Extra thankful for the people who helped pull the party together— special shoutout to Mimi for her party planning and execution, and for Conner, who took some really lovely photos. ❤️ Thank you, thank you, thank you!
