Happy 8th Birthday to my beautiful daughter, Parker Nicole Marchand! 🎂❤️♾️

And to think, your very first song started with us freestyling during our morning rides to school. Each day, we’d add another lyric until we created something special. 🎶

I remember you telling me, “Daddy, I really love being a kid!” And when I asked why, you said, “Because we always have fun!”

And that’s exactly what childhood should be! Sunshine or rain, we’re going outside! Even if it means putting on our rain boots and splashing in puddles. Life is too short not to find joy in every single day.

In many ways, this song is a reflection of both of us. After all, who doesn’t want to have fun every day? ❤️

And now you’re EIGHT!

The number 8 represents new beginnings, strength, abundance, and infinite possibilities. Turn it sideways, and it becomes the infinity symbol (♾️), just like my love for you. WITHOUT LIMITS. WITHOUT END.

Parker, my life has never been the same since the moment you entered it. You changed my world forever, and I thank God for you every single day.

August 5th marked another year of life for me, but this birthday felt like more than simply getting older. It felt like a reminder to become more intentional about who I am, who I’m becoming, and why I’m here.

At this stage of my life, being the best version of myself isn’t about being perfect. It’s about making a decision every single day to choose good over evil, love over hate, discipline over excuses, peace over chaos, and purpose over distraction.

I want to become a better man for myself first, because I understand that I cannot continuously pour into the people I love if I’m not investing in myself too. I want to be the best father, family member, friend, businessman and human being I can possibly be—not just through my words, but through the way I live.

I’ve also learned that my time, energy and love are valuable. I want to invest in the people who invest in me. I want relationships that are reciprocal, genuine and rooted in love, loyalty, respect and growth. I will always have a giving heart, but I’m learning that everyone should not have unlimited access to it.

This year, I’m challenging myself to listen more closely to my purpose. To stop allowing fear, distractions, other people’s expectations or temporary circumstances to keep me from doing the things I know I was placed here to do.

I want my life to mean something.

I want the people I love to feel my love while I’m here. I want my children and the people connected to me to see a man who continued growing, learning, giving, building and becoming.

And when life presents me with choices—and it will—I want to remember that character is built in those moments when nobody is watching. Every day I get another opportunity to decide what kind of man I want to be.

So my birthday promise to myself is simple:

Choose good.
Choose love.
Choose discipline.
Choose purpose.
Choose the people who choose you.
And most importantly, keep choosing to become the man you know you were created to be.

Happy Birthday to me.

Another year of life. Another year of growth. Another opportunity to walk boldly in my purpose.

Happy Birthday To Me,

This past year has been filled with some great memories and some not so great.
It taught me to live in the now,
to focus only on what truly matters to me. Keep the ones I love close because tomorrow is not promised.

Each morning I wake up determined
to be better than I was yesterday,
guided by my plan of attack:

1. Build financial stability 📈💰💳🪙 (Get Some Money)

2. Protect my health and well-being 🏋🏾🏃🏾🧎🏾🙏🏾 (Stay Alive)

3. Mind my business

4. Practice kindness, patience and peace.

5. Be the change I want to see in the world.
