It’s been a while since I’ve posted on insta. Back in May, Mochi was diagnosed with cancer. We made a game plan with the oncologist. After getting the ct scan, we did a week long intense radiation plan. She responded well. This however is not a cure. We really have no idea how long she will make it. We cancelled South Africa this summer and all future trips to ensure we can spend all of our time that we have left with little mochi. She has been everything to me these last 6 years that I have had her and I want to give her the best remaining time she can possibly have. Fall is here so lots of short hike climbing days for us coming soon! If you see her at the crag, she would love pets, treats, and love!

We got a TB2. Sadly couldn’t fit the full one but so happy to have one of these at home. Mochi, satsuki, @erin_willmore and I are heading to Leavenworth in a few weeks so I am stoked to have this board to train on to get fit for Penrose! We made the board adjustable from 50-60 so I am hyped to set som taken in Coal Creek Canyon by @paulrobinson87

Europe Feb/March 2026 - So thankful for this trip and my amazing friends around the world that I got to spend time with old and new. I climbed some boulders I had always wanted and discovered new projects that I can’t wait to try when I’m able to return. It was also amazing to show @erin_willmore some of the people and places that made me who I am today. Happy to be home but missing friends, the best rock in the world, and French bakeries 🥐. Hopefully I’ll be back soon! Feeling reset and ready to train hard for South Africa 🇿🇦 in only 2.5 months 🎉 🏄‍♂️ 🧗 🎉 taken in Foroglio, Ticino, Switzerland by @paulrobinson87

I dreamed about posting this picture over the last few years. It was taken on one of my early sessions back in 2023. I decided I would wait to post it until I sent one day.

Through massive ups and downs in life, Turpentine has been there as this beacon of hope for me. A climb that tried me time and time again, year after year. I spent lots of time on it some seasons and less others but it never was far out of my mind. Despite the struggle that the boulder presented and what was happening in my life, there was always a sense of peace for me every time I went up to try it.

This season, everything seemed to click. After my first session back, I knew I could do it. And on one very very cold day, I finally finished it off ✅ .
