It’s crazy to think that this album from @mavisstaples is finally out in the world. Mavis, there are few that can live up to their reputation like you. Your joy, kindness and virtuosity have changed the lives of so many and I’m incredibly humbled to have experienced it myself. The making of these recordings was a true labor of love from @bradleywcook for the past two years. I can’t imagine where I’d be without ya man, you put everything you had into these songs and it shows. Huge thanks to all of Mavis’ friends that played their hearts out on this, @thetimsmiley for mastering, and all of the people who support voices like Mavis in this world. by @paulvoran

An absolutely stellar collection of songs from Charlie Craichy dropped yesterday and by golly I couldn’t be more proud of him. Engineering and Producing this record with him was an absolute joy and the final product is worth checking out so please give it a listen. Keep in mind while you listen that Charlie absolutely blasted these wildly difficult fingerpicking guitar parts in a single take, @charliecraichymusic you’re a freak and I love it.

Huge thanks to @roundhousekick for all of the tasteful drumming/percussion and @mattslaird for arranging/recording the strings. taken in Durham, North Carolina by @paulvoran

Cardinals at the Window is a compilation album to benefit flood relief in western NC in the wake of destruction from Hurricane Helene. PLEASE go buy it on Bandcamp it’s worth every penny and there are some truly great tunes in there you won’t be able to hear anywhere else. It’s been a crazy couple days mixing up songs for this release from Waxahatchee, Nathaniel Rateliff, MJ Lenderman, and Indigo de Sousa. Check out the album and full list of artists on Bandcamp under ‘Cardinals at the Window’. taken in Durham, North Carolina by @paulvoran
