This year’s MET Gala theme is Costume Art and I cannot stop thinking of so many Indian fashion moments across time ✋🗣️
I went through the list of our brands collection and realised so many designers we have here in India are creating moments of intrigue, and I’m not just talking about the big names we all know. This is just a small compilation, being honest with you. There are so many names I can still add here- but maybe I’ll leave that up for part 2 🙂‍↔️

What style/clothing is best- you may ask?
A good rule of thumb is whatever suits your local climate, and has been historically present. Clothes like Sarees, scarf styles, Mundu, headgears etc have existed since forever to help you beat the heat.

• It’s super hot, we feel you. Even though you aren’t going to whip out a saree everyday, you can wear linen shirts that cover you fully, pants that are breathable, and scarves that protect your head when you forget to reapply the SPF.

Best believe I’m always trying to make my travel life easy and cute. ✅ I love it when items are easy to carry around, good for “on the go” moments and more or less make sure I look and feel put together. These are just some of my favourites from my last trip to Mumbai 📍
A good par of shoes, pants, and top is definitely a must. Spray sunscreen just made my life trullyyyy easier, and a cute little bag for some dressy moments is always a ➕ I think I have my wardrobe staples fixed for a while with these ngl

I came across multiple reels of people discussing how expensive winterwear from famous brands were all synthetic fabric blends. 🧶

While synthetic fabrics have helped extreme sports wear and tactical wear, the normalisation of it in everyday winterwear is something to be aware of. 🧣🧥

As much as we promote homegrown brands, at Pausepick we think it’s part of our job to encourage you to be conscious of your purchases so you can get more out of them, and enjoy them for longer.
