Raising a glass to St Ives as I reach the end of my stay. Facts I have learnt about the Town Bridge. The left-hand (south) arch is rounded, rather than gothic point, because Oliver Cromwell had it destroyed and replaced by a draw bridge to stop Royalists travelling south to London. Had a great session today w/ the team @bedfordshireflowerschool creating eco displays. As well as creating our own displays it was great to learn about the lengths they are going to source flowers locally wherever possible and using reusable or fully compostable display equipment.
