Into the wild. Beyond the ordinary. Deep inside the sanctuary. 🐆🌙

MIDNIGHT IN THE SANCTUARY 🌿✨

For one unforgettable night, Tower Club Fort Lauderdale surrendered to the wild—where untamed elegance, intoxicating energy, and a touch of the unexpected collided for a cause close to our hearts.

From mesmerizing performances to mysterious encounters and wildly immersive experiences, every corner of the sanctuary held another secret waiting to be discovered.

An extraordinary night of indulgence, intrigue, and generosity—all in support of PAWS. 🐾

The night was wild. The cause was beautiful. The memories are unforgettable.

And this is only the first glimpse inside the sanctuary… 🎥 @leafcuttermedia @pawsbroward @humanebroward @cityclubcollection @invitedclubs taken in Tower Club - Fort Lauderdale by @pawsbroward

Sweet and calm Arena is our pet of the week! 🥹

Repost from @humanebroward - Arena is only 1 year old and sadly she is growing up in a kennel. 💔

She has been here for so long that her kennel has become the place where she feels safest. When we try to take her outside, Arena can be nervous and sometimes immediately wants to go back inside. Once she is out, she spends a lot of time cautiously taking in her surroundings and needs a few minutes before she starts to feel comfortable. It is devastating to see such a young dog becoming so accustomed to shelter life. 😔

Arena has been waiting for almost 100 days, and it’s heartbreaking because we know how much potential she has! She is a sweet, gentle 58 pound girl who is friendly, affectionate, walks nicely on a leash and is potty trained. She knows several commands including sit, come and lay down, enjoys toys, takes treats very gently and has been described by shelter staff as a “affectionate” and simply “perfect.” ❤️

This brave girl also JUST completed her heartworm treatment! 🙏 Arena does have a mild limp in her left rear leg due to chronic changes in her knee, possibly from an old injury or early arthritis. She does not need treatment at this time, but keeping her at a healthy weight and using joint supplements will help support her long term joint health. We will even send her home with a bottle of Antinol to get her started.

Arena should not spend her young life believing a kennel is home. She needs a patient family who will give her time to adjust, help build her confidence and show her how wonderful life outside of the shelter can be. We know there is an amazing dog inside this shy girl just waiting for someone to give her that chance. 🥺🙏

If you would like to meet Arena, please complete a pre-adoption application on our website (link is in bio) and come in to meet this sweetie ❤️

Bommie is throwing a fit because she is dressed and READY to go 🥹 but apparently no one has told her where the runway is! ❤️‍🩹

This adorable little fashionista is Bommie, a 2-year-old, 50-pound pocket girl who has plenty of personality packed into that little body! Bommie came to us after her family moved without her 💔 and now she is more than ready for her forever home.

She is energetic, playful, affectionate and LOVES being around people. 🥰 She will happily chase toys and play fetch, is extremely treat motivated and, once she gets some of that energy out, loves settling down next to you for pets and attention. 💕 She is also bilingual!

Bommie can be picky about her dog friends, and because she is a strong, high-energy girl who is still learning how to properly socialize, we recommend scheduling a meeting with your dog at the shelter if you already have one at home. 🙏

And since Bommie is clearly ready for the runway, she would also like to remind everyone that there is only ONE WEEK LEFT to enter our Fashion Forward For PAWS Prize Drawing! 🖤

The Grand Prize is a $5,000 Balmain wardrobe, with even more incredible prizes including a $1,000 Neiman Marcus Boca Raton shopping spree, champagne lunch for six at Mariposa, Alexis Bittar crystal earrings, a Neiman Marcus wine glass set and a $1,000 Bugatchi men’s wardrobe. 🤩 Tickets are 1 for $50 or 3 for $100, and the drawing will take place October 8 at Neiman Marcus Boca Raton. You do not need to be present to win! ❤️

The best part is that every ticket purchased helps support the care of the homeless animals at @humanebroward including little runway-ready girls like Bommie while they wait for families of their own. 🥹❤️‍🩹 Grab your tickets through the link in our bio, and if Bommie is the prize you REALLY have your eye on, come meet this adorable girl and help her finally strut out of the shelter and into a home of her own! 🐾✨

The Humane Society of Broward County is located at 2070 Griffin Road in Fort Lauderdale and adoption kennels open daily at 11 a.m. Call 954-989-3977 with any questions.
