Enrichment is a fantastic way to provide your dog with a happy, healthy, and fulfilling life. By incorporating different enrichment activities into your dog’s routine, you’ll be ensuring their physical and mental well-being while strengthening your bond with them.

We know the benefits are endless, that’s why we’re on a mission to help more dog owners understand how enrichment keeps their pups happy & healthy!

Our Journey so far! This is part 1 of how we created the Rylo, a mess free dog enrichment toy, designed to be leak free, super engaging for your dog & most importantly safe. We will be posting part 2 tomorrow 🐾

I swear it feels hotter today. Some enrichment ready to freeze for later, literally dog food and plain yog. Hoping this helps. Frankie’s so fed up, bless him🥵

Enrichment doesn’t need to just be food but for this one we are using our food!

Using enrichment like the Rylo allows for interaction, brain stimulation and boredom reduction = a Happy, Relaxed & Content pet 🐾

By ditching the bowl your pups gets to enjoy their meal in so many forms of fun 🫧

This is why I created Rylo. 🤍
Not for the business growth.
Not for the orders.
Not even for the product itself.

I created Rylo because I wanted dog enrichment to feel easier.

As dog owners, we’re constantly told enrichment is important. But when you’re juggling work, family, housework, life (and in my case now, a newborn 👶), it can sometimes feel like another thing to add to the never-ending list.

Rylo was designed to be simple to fill and easy to clean, because I truly believe that enrichment should fit into real life.

And honestly? Moments like this are my favourite part.

If you use enrichment with your dog, what’s your go-to filling? 🐾

Something I keep thinking about is why I created Paws in Earnest in the first place…I truly believe life with dogs should be easier, not another thing on your never-ending to-do list.

Enrichment massively helps this become a reality, however too often is the first thing that falls to the wayside (yes I’m guilty too!). I’m going to try and document my journey back to simple enrichment and share the small genuine wins that adding it into your day to day can have.

Photo credit to the amazing @archie.with.the.brows who perfectly showcases that the Rylo is perfect for out and about as well as at home 🐕🐶

How often do you offer your dog food enrichment? 👇🏻

A lot has changed around here 🐾🤍

The newest member of Paws in Earnest, our beautiful baby daughter Emma, arrived 4 weeks ago and we’ve been finding our feet as a family.

After a long journey to get here ourselves, I know baby announcements can be bittersweet for some. If you’re in the middle of a difficult season, my heart goes out to you and my inbox is always open ❤️

Thank you for sticking with us while we’ve been a little (okay a lot) quieter than usual.
