ADOPT FRANNY!!

Franny has been at the shelter for a few weeks now, and in that time, we’ve learned just how smart she is! She knows sit, down, shake (and who knows what else!) — it’s wild how she knows exactly what you’re asking and how quickly she responds.

Franny is also super affectionate. She loves being pet and being near her people. She trusts very quickly and is just overall a really good dog.

Beckett is still available for adoption, and I don’t understand how! He is the most perfect sweetie boy. Here’s what I know about Beckett from my time with him at the shelter:
✔️ very calm in his kennel — no barking or jumping
✔️ seemingly dog friendly
✔️ gentle play — so cautious as to not even nibble my hand
✔️ takes treats gently
✔️ gives great hugs

Beckett will match your energy. He can easily self-entertain or cuddle up next to you for affection.

ADOPT DAVEY!

The shelter is at max capacity, and many dogs are at risk of euthanasia if they don’t find adopters or foster homes soon.

Davey is one of those dogs.

He’s also a volunteer favorite.

Davey is a sweet boy with so much energy and love to give. The stress of being in the shelter for the past 3 months is really starting to take a toll on him, and he needs out ASAP.

Beckett is such a sweet boy! He was so easy on our walk and just wanted to give hugs the entire time. He hops up so gently and doesn’t want to let go. My heart was heavy taking him back to his kennel, but I told him I’d try to help him find his forever. I’ll be posting him until he does.

ADOPT OLLIE!!

It’s clear Ollie was neglected prior to landing in CMACC’s care. But despite everything, he has the sweetest spirit and is slowly learning that the world isn’t as scary as he thought.

Ollie is finally getting the nutrition he needs to gain weight and is almost finished with treatment for dermatitis. Some amazing volunteers have also been working on his very long nails.

He is currently soaking up all the love and TLC from his foster mom while he waits for his forever family.

Dua Le-Paw is still looking for her forever home — she promises endless hugs and kisses in return!

Dua is an amazing girl who deserves a family to call her own.

I truly can’t say enough good things about Dua. She’s hands down one of the sweetest, easiest dogs I’ve had at my house. She’s great with kids and other dogs, potty trained, crate trained, and nondestructive when left out on her own. She takes treats so gently, loves to cuddle, and gives the BEST hugs.

She’s a pretty lowkey girl who would rather lounge inside than spend all day outdoors (especially in this heat). She’s small enough for apartment living, doesn’t need a huge yard, and would do just fine in a home where her people work during the day - she’s so well-behaved and really just wants a soft place to land and a family to love.

If you’re looking for your forever dog, please consider giving Dua a chance!

Dua Le-Paw worked so hard this morning searching for her forever family! While she hasn’t met them yet, she continues showing everyone just how sweet and loving she is.

DUA LE-PAW — adopter or foster needed by Wednesday, June 17.

I pulled Dua for space on Friday and need a foster takeover or an adopter by Wednesday, June 17. My dog’s board and train was extended, and he is officially coming home that day. Because my dog is dog reactive, I unfortunately can’t keep Dua beyond that point.

And honestly, this girl deserves the world 🩷

Dua is so sweet and a total love bug. She is:
✔️crate trained
✔️potty trained
✔️kid friendly
✔️non-reactive to other dogs
✔️rides perfectly in the car
✔️quiet and well-mannered - hasn’t barked once
✔️great on leash and walks right by your side
✔️calm, gentle, and easygoing

She’s the definition of a Velcro dog. If she’s not curled up next to you (or on top of you), she’s following you from room to room. She just wants to be loved and included. She’s a chill, affectionate girlie who simply wants a safe place and someone to love.
