earth day reminder that our administration…

- has pulled out of the paris agreement. (a legally binding international treaty aiming to keep our planet clean and safe)
- has repealed the 2024 mercury and air toxic standard, now allowing power plants to emit higher levels of mercury, heavy metals, and scoot, which are linked to brain damage, heart disease, and premature death.
- rolled back on the endangered species act which protects dying species and bans the taking and killing of them.
- has repealed the endangerment finding which states the country must protect its citizens from climate pollution.
-has drastically cut funding for national parks ($1B), firing thousands of national park employees, and opened parks up for mining and drilling projects, aiming to prioritize resource extraction.
-rolled back on the clean water act which strips protections for millions of acres of wetlands and streams across the county that serve as our clean water sources.

these are only SOME of the 460 environmental deregulations and roll backs done by the trump administration thus far. (only a year in) these projects will directly pollute our lands, dirty our water, infect our food, kill our animals, and eventually kill us. there is no economy on a dead planet. no amount of profit from any administration will EVER amount to the damages done to our mother earth. with no planet, there is no profit. vote like you love this earth. by @paxtonbraunn
