MX Missions ‘24🇲🇽-

This past June, I was given the opportunity to serve orphaned children on a missions trip in Mexico. Looking back, God did so many amazing things. In the city we were in, we learned that it’s common for children to not have access to clean water, food, and basic human needs supplies. There was a need to serve this community. It was such a blessing to be able to give back. In the states, we are all so unbelievably blessed. We are blessed to have access to what may seem as small things, like toilet paper and clean water. These children, although, were so grateful. They were happy. The joy I saw in their eyes was a joy I strive to have in my heart. They knew Jesus, and that is the only thing you need in life to find this pure joy that they carried. They had hearts not focused on what they didn’t have, but grateful for what they DID have. Another thing that I learned through this experience is that God’s love has no boundaries. There was a big language barrier, but I was able to love in action as Jesus has taught His followers to do. God’s love overcame that barrier, and it has taught me that it can overcome any obstacle or barrier.

So many spiritual breakthroughs. So much joy. Countless memories. Endless hours in this community. Through it all, God is so good. He is just as faithful today as he was yesterday. He is the same God who parted the sea. The same God who walked on water. The same God who healed the sick. The same God who defeated the grave. That same God is alive, working, moving, speaking..today. That is the God I serve, love, and worship. bottom line God brought me to this week is that He always has the final say. He has already won, and will continue to rise in victories. I’m forever grateful for my sisters in Christ who have encouraged my faith and walk with the Lord over these past 4 years. It is SOO bittersweet that it’s come to an end. Thank you Jesus for Silver Birch Ranch, my small group, Alanna and Kara, and for all the ways God that You have moved in this place. It will all hold a special place in my heart forever.🩷 by @paytonjuliaa
